Christina Hall and Josh Hall's divorce has gotten contentious since they filed for divorce this month.
Christina Hall is speaking out after Josh Hall returned to social media amid their tumultuous divorce.
The 41-year-old HGTV star took to her Instagram Stories to seemingly respond to Josh's photo on his Story showing him on a walk in the woods. That post included a prayer hand emoji. While Christina seemingly responded with a full-glam selfie, complete with a prayer hand emoji, too, the Flip or Flop star vowed to fight for what she's worked so hard for.
"I have worked my a** off to build this life for myself and my children and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve/what they did NOT work for should be ashamed," she wrote on her Story.
After referring to her estranged husband as "an insecure man with a large ego," Christina added, "For those that aren't aware... divorces do not happen overnight..& there is always a breaking point. This one is personal."
The divorce proceeding reached a boiling point this week when Christina filed legal court documents in which she claimed Josh diverted more than $35,000 of her money from rental property income into his personal Wells Fargo bank account. She claimed Josh, 43, contacted her professional property manager via text on July 8 and stated, "Hi. For June payments, can we please get it sent to a different account when it's time? Thank you." Christina, who attached a screenshot of the purported text as an exhibit to her filing, further stated she learned about this on July 21. They filed for divorce on July 16, and Christina listed July 7 as the date of separation.
She further claimed she "had no personal contact with Josh on July 8, 2024" and therefore "would not have asked him to send himself my money the day after I told him we are getting divorced."
When reached for comment, Josh denied to ET any wrongdoing. For her part, Christina stated in court documents that she'll have a "full forensic accounting performed for the entire term of our marriage," which ended after two years and nine months.
Christina and Josh's romance began in 2021, the same year that she divorced Ant Anstead. The now exes share a 4-year-old son, Hudson. Christina was also married to Tarek El Moussa from 2009 to 2018, and shares Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8, with him.
Two months before Christina's latest divorce filing, it was announced that she and Josh would be teaming up with Tarek and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, for new HGTV show, The Flip Off. The show was slated to pit the couples against each other to see who can find, buy, renovate and flip a house for the biggest financial gain.
In the wake of the divorce news, ET learned that The Flip Off is still set to move forward. According to one person close to The Flip Off production, the show only recently started filming scenes "a few weeks ago" and the team behind the series is still "figuring out what the plan is moving forward."
