The 'Thor' star also shared that his brother, Liam Hemsworth, doesn't need his advice on marriage.
Chris Hemsworth is a big fan of Miley Cryrus.
The 34-year-old actor stopped by SiriusXM Studios' Sway in the Morning on Tuesday, where he chatted about what it's like to have the "Malibu" singer as a future sister-in-law.
"I always just expect her to put on a show, belt a few songs out. But she never does," Hemsworth joked after confirming that his brother, Liam Hemsworth, and Miley are not married. "I'm insisting consistently, 'When is the performance coming?' But no, she's a lot of fun."
Liam and Miley first met on the set of their 2009 film, The Last Song, and a year later made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2010 Oscars. The twosome dated on and off, even getting engaged and calling off the engagement, until they reconciled at the end of 2015.
When asked if Liam has ever asked him for marriage advice and what to expect, Chris said that his little bro doesn’t need any advice.
"No…I've asked my mom about marriage and kids and [she's] said, 'Look, we've been doing it for a long, long time that if there was an answer to it, and a way to do it properly, we'd have it figured out. There would be one book that says here’s how to do it.' No, he doesn’t need my advice."
Last week, both Chris and Miley shared special birthday messages for Liam on Instagram.
"Happy birthday to this little champion @liamhemsworth#kitchenkungfu #kitchencrane," wrote Chris alongside a silly pic of his brother. Meanwhile, Miley gushed about her "best friend."
Liam and Miley showed their support for Chris at the Los Angeles premiere of Thor: Ragnarok in October, where the lovebirds posed on the red carpet together.
Miley has been close with her beau's family for years. In January 2016, she was spotted with Chris and his wife, Elsa Pataky, at a music festival in Australia.
