The two decided to give it another go last fall.
It appears Chris Evans and Jenny Slate's rekindled romance has come to an end.
The Captain America star was featured in a New York Times profile piece on Thursday, and the article notes that he and Slate's "on-again, off-again relationship, beloved by the internet, recently ended."
ET confirmed in November that the Gifted co-stars were officially a couple again after they were spotted hanging out in Atlanta, Georgia, a month prior.
The pair initially broke up in January after less than a year of dating, but continued to speak well of each other in the press. By the end of October, they were exchanging flirty messages over social media.
While they kept their relationship somewhat private, Slate did tweet in early November that she had a "dreamy" boyfriend. "My boyfriend does many dreamy and generous things but number 1 in my mind right now is how he celebrates my new turtlenecks/let’s me show him my online shopping spoils and cheers me on," she wrote.
ET caught up with Evans, 36, and Slate, 35, last April, not long after their first breakup, at the Los Angeles premiere of their movie, Gifted. Even then, they were gushing over one another.
"He's just an absolutely, really giving performer and a wonderful actor," Slate said, praising Evans. "It's a delight, a total delight."
