Chloe Grace Moretz is getting candid about her split from Brooklyn Beckham.
The 20-year-old actress got back together with Beckham this fall after breaking up in September 2016, and in a new interview with Stellar, Moretz reveals that spending time apart wasn't easy.
"I went through a hard year and I’m not going to hide that," she shared. "I had to deal with this new level of fame while I was growing up, I was getting out of a relationship and all of it was very public. I wanted to hide."
The Neighbors 2 star credits her family for being there for her as she figured things out after she and Beckham went their separate ways.
"They were like, 'That’s all great that you want to go away -- but you can’t. You are your own person. You’re going to have to deal with this sort of thing,'" she revealed, adding that "Things started to change when I realized that I have the power to change them."
"I am young; I’m still growing up," she said. "I hardly have anything figured out, but I’m trying."
