The Greg Berlanti pilot stars Joe Morton ('Scandal') and Brandon Michael Hall ('The Mayor').
Kyle Harris has joined the cast of the CBS drama pilot, God Friended Me, ET has learned.
The series is about an outspoken atheist named Miles (The Mayor’s Brandon Michael Hall), whose life is turned upside down when he is “friended” by God on Facebook. Unwittingly, he becomes an agent of change in the lives and destinies of others around him.
Harris will appear in the guest-starring role of Eli James, a handsome tech-billionaire and former friend of Miles.
Harris is most known for starring as Cameron on the Freeform procedural drama Stitchers, which wrapped its third and final season last year. He has also appeared on The Carrie Diaries and The Blacklist: Redemption.
In addition to Hall and Harris, the pilot also stars The Flash’s Violett Beane and Joe Morton, who stars as Rowan Pope on the ABC-Shondaland drama Scandal, currently in its seventh and final season.
Love, Simon director Greg Berlanti, who executive produces a slew of CW series including Riverdale, Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl, serves as executive producer on the pilot.
