Carly Pearce is spilling the details on how wedding planning is progressing — including her dress!
The gorgeous blonde songstress hit the red carpet of the 2019 ACM Awards alongside fiance Michael Ray, and she told ET's Nancy O'Dell about preparing the couple's upcoming nuptials.
"I have it, and it’s awesome," she gushed about her wedding gown. "All of my girlfriends think it was custom made for me, and it wasn’t, so it makes me feel like it’s a good one for me."
When asked if the gown bears any resemblance to the smoldering red dress she chose for the awards show, which featured a high slit, a plunging neckline and a train, she answered, "No, it’s really different. But I feel like when you see it, you’ll go, 'Of course that’s Carly.'"
The songstress also spoke with ET's Sophie Schillaci and Cassie DiLaura, and she dished on the status of her wedding prep.
"It's good! Honestly, I feel like I've got the big things [done]. I've got the caterer, I've got the first dance singer, I've got the venue, I've got the dress, so things are good," Pearce said, before revealing that she's tapped fellow country music star Jake Owen to perform a song for their first dance.
"He just released his new record, Greetings From... Jake, and it's called 'Made For You,'" Pearce shared, adding that she's already had to warn some of her family members not to be starstruck. "I was like, 'Mom, I know you love Jake Owen, but you can't stare at him at the wedding."
When Pearce's future husband was asked by ET how he’s feeling about saying "I do," Ray said, "I’ll marry her right now. I’ve been trying to get her to marry me in Vegas."
"For me, it’s my first time, so I think, having that first-time feeling and also being able to share it with your fiancee, doesn’t get better than that," Ray said of attending the ACM Awards. "We just feel very blessed and fortunate that we get to share these moments together. We were talking about this yesterday and was like ‘who get to do this?’ with their significant others. So it’s awesome, makes it so much better."
The couple got engaged in at the end of last year during a laid-back vacation to Tulum, Mexico, following months of dating. Soon after, Ray posted a photo of the fateful moment, showing Pearce covering her face after Ray got down on one knee.
"Carly, you make it all make sense, every step of my life good and bad was leading me to you," Ray captioned the moment. "You are the biggest blessing I have and will ever receive. You are my best friend, my partner in crime, my workout, grilled chicken, wine drinking classic country Opry loving, Nashville palace hanging, Publix grocery shopping, this is us watching, living room late night dancing, laugh until we cry soulmate."
The 28-year-old songstress is up for new female artist of the year at the ceremony.
