Shawn Mendes just made Camila Cabello cry… tears of joy.

The “Havana” singer took to Twitter on Thursday to react to Mendes’ newly released interview with Zane Lowe for Beats 1, revealing that his comments about her actually made her cry. Mendes and Cabello became good friends after collaborating on 2015’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”

“She’s my favorite person in the whole world,” Mendes told Lowe in the interview.

“I don’t think you’ll ever meet somebody who can feel emotion like her, in all aspects,” he added. “She can feel hurt like no other, but she can feel love like no other.”

“I shouldn’t be crying at this time in the morning but I AM,” Cabello tweeted, before giving a shout out back to Mendes. “I love you SO much @ShawnMendes.”

Mendes and Cabello are so close, that the former Fifth Harmony singer was the first to hear Mendes' new single, "In My Blood."

The emotional track was inspired by Mendes' struggles with anxiety, which he told Lowe didn't start until recently.

“Truthfully, it was kind of something that hit me within the last year. Before that, growing up, I was a pretty calm kid, super steady," he shared. "I knew people who suffered from anxiety, found it hard to understand, and then when it hits you, you’re like, ‘Oh my God. This is crazy,’ you know?"

"But that song is just complete truth, and then the best thing about it is it’s not all down," he continued. "The whole reason I wrote the song was to be like, at the very end, ‘It’s not in my blood to do that.’"
