The former Olympian shared her excitement for her new granddaughter via Instagram on Monday.
Caitlyn Jenner is one proud grandparent!
Following Kylie Jenner's happy baby news, the retired Olympic athlete took to Instagram on Monday to praise her 20-year-old daughter, who welcomed her first child with boyfriend Travis Scott on Feb. 1.
"My daughter just had a daughter," Caitlyn captioned a cute photo of Kylie as a baby. "It’s amazing to be by your side through this journey."
The 68-year-old continued to gush about her newest granddaughter, saying, "She’s SO beautiful already. Can’t wait to watch her grow."
Kylie responded by commenting, "Love you."
Last month, a source close to the Kardashian-Jenner family told ET that Caitlyn was less than thrilled to hear about her daughter's upcoming bundle of joy, though you wouldn't know it from her latest Instagram post. The source said Caitlyn "wasn't happy at first about Kylie becoming a young mother," also adding that she is was "hesitant" about her daughter's rapper boyfriend. As for Kylie, the source says she "wasn’t happy about how Caitlyn responded."
Other family members are also sharing their love for mom and baby, including sister Kim Kardashian West, who welcomed her third child, Chicago West, last month.
"Mommy Kylie!!! You did it!!! I'm so incredibly proud of the woman you have grown up to be and I know that you are going to be the best mom to your new baby girl!" Kim wrote on her app. "Our girls are two weeks apart and I can’t wait for them to be besties!"
Khloe Kardashian, who is next in line to give birth, also shared words of encouragement, posting a flashback photo of both her and Kylie's baby bumps.
Kris Jenner also expressed excitement for Kylie and her granddaughter, sharing on Instagram, "God is SO good!! I am so excited and thrilled to welcome another precious baby girl to our beautiful, ever growing family. We are blessed beyond belief!"
