The reality star confirmed the happy news on Instagram with a photo of her athele husband.
Brooke Hogan is a happily married woman! The former Hogan Knows Best reality star confirmed that she tied the knot with hockey player Steven Oleksy via a post shared on Instagram.
"A rare sighting of the husband. We like to keep to ourselves, but somehow the news is out. 🤷🏼♀️" the 35-year-old captioned the two-slide gallery post with Oleksy.
"So here he is, people: The kindest, sweetest badass you'll ever meet. I'm really lucky. God did me a solid on this one❤️ Thank you for all the kind words of celebration and encouragement," she added. "We feel so blessed. Thank you for being kind. ☺️ Now back to our regularly scheduled privacy. 😎😎"
Olesky, 37, commented on Brooke's post, gushing over his wife and showering her with praise and affection. "You have taught me so much on what 'real' means and what truly matters in life ❤️ I love you!" he wrote.
Oleksy also shared the happy news on X (formerly known as Twitter), where he penned a sweet note to Brooke and their relationship.
"I value privacy on a deep level, but I guess some secrets are just too amazing to hide forever," the hockey defenseman captioned the post. "Somehow the news got out, so I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and support. Especially the journalists who chose positivity and kindness.🙏"
TMZ was the first to announce the news, along with a wedding photo of Brooke and Olesky walking down the aisle after their June 2022 ceremony in Florida.
According to the outlet, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony that featured just the two of them. They reportedly held a reception with Oleksy's side of the family in Michigan to celebrate their marriage last month.
Brooke isn't the only Hogan who rang some wedding bells recently. Her father, Hulk Hogan, tied the knot with 45-year-old fiancée Sky Daily in September 2023, inside the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Florida. TMZ reported that the pair had a small affair, with the couple's children making up most of the guest list.
The retired pro wrestler popped the question in July after the two dated for over a year.
Brooke, who owns BB Designs By Brooke in Nashville, took to Instagram to share why she chose not to attend the celebration, explaining it was due to her prioritizing her mental health and wellbeing.
"As many of you know, I value my privacy, but unfortunately, a lot of media outlets are making assumptions as to why I did not attend my father's third wedding," Brooke wrote. "Instead of leaving it to speculation, I decided it's better to shut it all down here."
"As we all experience this with our own families, the dynamics of a family unit continuously change over the years," she continued. "With that being said, my family has experienced a LOT of change. With all of it happening in the public eye, I've had to learn how to best navigate those changes as they come, which has been difficult to say the least."
Brooke explained, "For my own journey to healing and happiness, I have chosen to create some distance between myself and my family, and am focusing on people and things that heal my heart and align with my own personal beliefs, goals, and values."
Brooke concluded her post on a positive note, writing, "I wish him well," alongside a heart emoji.
