The pop superstar shared a sweet message about her boyfriend on Monday.
Britney Spears has hit a major milestone with her love -- the one-year mark!
The pop superstar spent some time enjoying the great outdoors with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, and took to Instagram to share an adorable snap of their nature-filled adventure. Spears, 36, gushed about their one-year anniversary, as well as a few other sweet somethings.
"I’ve been with this man for over a year," the "I'm a Slave 4 U" singer wrote on Monday. "Everyday he inspires me to be a better person and that makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world!! @samasghari"
Asghari reposted the same photo of the fit couple standing before a waterfall, alongside the sweet caption, "The most beautiful girl @britneyspears."
Spears met her buff personal trainer beau on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video, but they didn't actually connect until several months later.
"We were doing the scene where I was doing the walk scene through the hall to go through the door to go to the bedroom and we were sitting there and waiting and waiting together for like 20 minutes at a time," she revealed in a January 2017 radio interview. "We were having to be literally stuck there together, so we were basically forced to talk to each other."
The two began talking about mutual interests, and Asghari finally gave Spears his phone number.
"I kept his number, and it was so weird -- it was like five months later, and I found his number in my bag," she continued. "I was like, 'He is really cute. This guy is really cute.' So then I called him, and ever since then, he is just a really fun, funny person."
And the happy pair have been spending time together ever since!
Last month, a source even hinted at wedding bells, telling ET, "[Britney] is really happy and I wouldn't be surprised if they got engaged."
The source adds, "Sam is also very understanding and flexible in regards to her work schedule, which is necessary. He genuinely loves and adores her."
