The highly anticipated film is due out next Valentine's Day.

Bridget Jones was out for a nighttime stroll through London on Wednesday, as Renée Zellweger was seen reprising her iconic character.

The actress was spotted filming the upcoming fourth installment of the beloved Bridget Jones movie franchise, walking down a city street as she appeared lost in thought. The actress donned a green dress for the scene, topped off with what looks like a black cardigan and a cozy jacket with a black cross-body purse and boots. Her blonde hair was pulled back in a simple, fuss-free style.

Zellweger first brought the beloved singleton to life in 2001's Bridget Jones's Diary, returning to the role for 2004's The Edge of Reason and 2016's Bridget Jones's Baby

Earlier this month, it was confirmed the actress would once again star on the silver screen as Jones in Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, directed by Michael Morris.

She's also set to reunite with Hugh Grant, who previously starred in Bridget Jones's Diary and The Edge of Reason as Daniel Cleaver -- Jones' former boss and later ex. It was insinuated that Cleaver had died in a plane crash in Bridget Jones's Baby. However, it is only at the end of the film that a newspaper headline reveals he has been found alive, thus leaving the door open for his return.

In addition to Grant, Emma Thompson -- who co-wrote and starred in Bridget Jones's Baby -- has been cast in Mad About the Boy. Newcomers to the franchise include 12 Years a Slave's Chiwetel Ejiofor, and The White Lotus alum Leo Woodall.

"I'll tell you what, I think this script for the fourth Bridget is the best one of the four," Grant recently told ET. "And, in fact, one of the best scripts I have read for in a long time."

Mad About the Boy is based on the Helen Fielding novel of the same name, and Grant explained that the thing he finds most interesting is the depth of emotion in the screenplay -- which follows the titular Bridget some time after the tragic death of her husband, as she navigates the world as a single mother who still wants to live her life.

"It's based on trying to bring up two children alone, and then [it's] all mixed up in the Bridget Jones [style] comedy, so it's very sad, as well as very funny," Grant explained. "It has me in tears."

The film will debut in movie theaters and on Peacock on Feb. 14 -- Valentine's Day! -- in 2025.

Though the Oscar winner has not yet spoken publicly about her latest project, she had no shortage of love for her character back in 2016 while filming the third installment.

"It's kind of fun to catch up," she told ET at the time. "I was so happy to be back in her world and be reunited with her friends and her family, and it just reminded me of how much I love these characters."
