Cooper is nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in 'Maestro.'
Bradley Cooper is continuing his long-standing tradition of bringing his mom as his Oscars date.
On Sunday, the 49-year-old actor hit the red carpet at the 96th Academy Awards with his mother, Gloria Campano. The two made sure to coordinate their outfits for the special night; Cooper looked dapper in a black suit, while Campano made a glamorous appearance in a floor-length black dress and matching jacket.
The mother-son duo looked to be in good spirits as they exchanged loving looks and hugged while posing for pictures.
It's a big night for Cooper, who is nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in Netflix's Maestro. If he wins tonight, this will be Cooper's very first Oscar. Maestro is also up for Best Picture and Cooper's co-star, Carey Mulligan, is nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
Given how special this year's Oscars are for Cooper, it was initially rumored that he'd bring his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, as his date to the ceremony. However, a source previously told ET that Hadid is skipping the Oscars so she can spend quality time with her daughter, Khai Malik, whom she shares with ex Zayn Malik. The source revealed, "Gigi is not attending the Oscars with Bradley and will be at home with her daughter."
Cooper and Hadid, 28, have been dating since October 2023. While they have yet to make their red carpet debut as a couple, another source told ET, "Bradley and Gigi are both genuinely so happy. They’re having a great time together, doing well as a couple, and co-parenting healthily on both sides."
The source further added, "Everyone is getting along, and it’s a good dynamic among all the parties. Zayn is continuing to be involved as a dad. Irina is still doing her own thing and is happy in her own life. Everyone’s being mature and focusing on their kids."
The month prior, a source told ET, "Gigi and Bradley's relationship is serious and they have already spoken about their future together and next steps. They are great at communicating with each other in a healthy, open, and honest way. They are excited about moving forward."
