Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have been married since 2012.
Blake Lively isn't bothered by split speculation surrounding her marriage. On Monday, the 36-year-old actress took to Instagram to support Ryan Reynolds' upcoming film, Deadpool & Wolverine, and quickly dispelled any troubles in her nearly 12-year marriage.
"You and Ryan need to post more of each other, there were rumors going around that you two got divorced and I didn't believe it because you two are literally the perfect couple," one commenter wrote.
"haha they wish 😂," Lively quipped back.
As for the post itself, it was a photo of Lively kissing Reynolds while he was in his Deadpool makeup. The second slide was a video of Lively clocking all the ways she and girls from her generation influenced the superhero movie.
"Tell me Deadpool's married to a millennial girl in real life without telling me," she said in the video, before clips from the film played that included references to Avril Lavigne, Harry Potter, Frozen, Celine Dion, *NSYNC, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and more.
"I have never felt more seen," Lively joked at the end of the clip.
The It Ends With Us actress elaborated on her feelings in the caption of her post.
"Brb I'm buying milky pens to write your name on my hand @vancityreynolds," she joked, before addressing her contemporaries directly.
"My y2k girlies, I should be competitive bc @itendswithusmovie is coming out in 3 weeks BUT when your middle school obsessions, your feelings post baby, or about Nice men who use feminism as a tool, your love of the Wizard of Oz, Succession, Sandy & Danny, driving with Avril blasting, the way the choreography of a certain boy*band song got me, of Baz Luhrmann fireworks to punctuate a moment, even down to the fact that our hair color is determined by seasons and the French method by which it’s painted are all so seen… MY WORD," she wrote. "… It's hard not to encourage my ladies to spot all the ways we've influenced @deadpoolmovie."
Lively concluded her post by quipping, "I've never been more proud. And I've given birth 4 times."
Indeed, Lively and Reynolds are parents of four. They share James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and 1-year-old child whose name and sex they've yet to reveal.
Deadpool & Wolverine will hit theaters July 26, while It Ends With Us is due out Aug. 9.
