The hijinks kick off on the one-hour season premiere on Tuesday night.
Bethenny Frankel and Fredrik Eklund’s working relationship is off to an interesting start on Bethenny & Fredrik.
The new real estate series premieres Tuesday night, and ET has your exclusive first look at the Bravo-lebrities in action. In order to kick off the pair’s joint, luxury apartment flip on the right foot, the Million Dollar Listing: New York agent wants everyone to bond. Yes, everyone -- including the construction team. So, Fredrik gathers the group for an announcement.
“We now will be a family,” he tells the crew and Bethenny. “Like, the five of us -- no, honestly, this is important to me, because you have to finish it super quickly for us. So, I thought, we’re gonna get to know each other, have a little picnic.”
“What?!” The Real Housewives of New York City star screams out in horror, as the construction team looks on, confused. Watch below:
“I’m 100 percent serious,” Fredrik tells a still-in-disbelief Bethenny.
“Everybody loves a picnic,” he then tells her in a joint confessional.
“People holding saws, nails and hammers?” she asks. “No.”
Cut back to the apartment, and Fredrik is handing out champagne flutes and party hats, telling the crew guys how important it is for him to get to know them. He says a successful project is about emotions and being a team.
“I don’t think Serbian construction workers like a picnic,” Bethenny says. “I don’t.”
Obviously, Bethenny and Fredrik are each other’s ying and yang. ET sat down with the duo ahead of the show's debut for an exclusive tour of the finished apartment, which will air on Tuesday on Entertainment Tonight. They also filled us in on what to expect from their dynamic.
“The best thing about Fredrik is that, he's a clown,” Bethenny shared. “And it's hilarious. He really is a clown, and I mean that in the nicest way. I am an idiot and I am attracted to other idiots, and so we really couldn't -- we could be in the biggest fight ever and we'd start laughing. I could cry right now. I peed my pants multiple times. I mean, we laughed. How hard did we laugh? We laughed so hard.”
