Lopez recently hit the red carpet flashing her wedding ring amid reports and speculation of trouble in the marriage.
Ben Affleck has pinpointed "one of the issues" he and Jennifer Lopez are facing in their marriage.
A source tells ET that "Ben feels like Jen has a hard time feeling satisfied and that's one of the issues they're facing. Ben is one of the only people who feels comfortable enough to be honest and real with Jen. It's part of why Jen loves him, but also why she's upset with him."
The source added, "She tries to play it off like she doesn't care what the public thinks about her, but she loves her fans so much, so their feedback does impact her. Ben and Jen are going through normal problems and nothing scandalous is going on."
The revelation via the source comes amid reports and speculation of trouble in the marriage. Affleck had recently been photographed without his wedding ring while attending a recital for his 15-year-old daughter, Seraphina. Meanwhile, Lopez was spotted wearing her ring, and that outing marked the first time the couple had been seen in public together in over a month.
More recently, Lopez flashed her wedding ring on Monday while walking the red carpet for Netflix's debut of her new sci-fi epic, Atlas. It was at that event where she smiled and told ET that "one thing you can always trust in [is] family."
Affleck was notably absent from the red carpet, with a source telling ET that both stars "are taking a second to figure out what each of them is going through and wants," but that their relationship isn't over.
Prior to that outing, Affleck and Lopez were spotted out together in Los Angeles with Affleck behind the wheel. During that outing, Affleck did sport his wedding band. He was also spotted holding his phone in the car with the screen lit up featuring a professional image of Lopez with the contact name "Jennifer Affleck."
A source recently told ET, "Jen and Ben's relationship is not over yet, but they have been staying in separate homes and the tension has been high. They are taking a second to figure out what each of them is going through and wants. Both of them have been very down."
