Barbra Streisand may have meant for her recent comment on Melissa McCarthy's post to be a DM!
On Monday, the Little Mermaid star took to Instagram to share a photo of her and choreographer and producer Adam Shankman during an event, showing off their pastel-colored outfits.
"Pastels only to honor the incredible @matthewbourne13 at the @ctgla gala last night with this fella @adamshankman !! Thiiiiis much closer to my dream of dancing on stage 💃🏻💚🩷," McCarthy wrote.
In the photo, she stuns in a green tulle dress with a matching blazer, and completes her look with a colorful clutch. For his part, Shankman looks dapper in a relaxed pink suit.
While the comments were filled with support, Streisand's was a standout.
"Give him my regards did you take Ozempic?," the 82-year-old Hollywood icon asked in a since-deleted comment.
Streisand's comment remained on the post for several hours, garnering a number of responses from fans before it was eventually removed.
"Are we seriously all here for that Barbara comment 😂😂😂😂," one fan asked.
"I think Barbara thought it was a dm," another added.
"Omg take away Barb's internet right now," another quipped.
Neither McCarthy nor Streisand commented or addressed the comment.
The comment isn't the first time the "Woman in Love" singer has had trouble with technology.
In 2023, while promoting her autobiography, Streisand revealed that she had a very special chat with Apple CEO Tim Cook, after Siri was mispronouncing her name.
"My name isn't spelled with a 'Z'...It's Strei-sand, like sand on the beach. How simple can you get?," she told the BBC. "And Tim Cook was so lovely. He had Siri change the pronunciation... I guess that’s one perk of fame!”
