Chadwick Boseman and Benedict Cumberbatch aren't so bothered by the quips about them.
Avengers are supposed to be able to take a punch, but can they handle Jimmy Kimmel Live's “Mean Tweets”?
After the late-night show hosted the many stars of Avengers: Infinity War last week, Kimmel had the blockbuster actors read out some of the meanest tweets about themselves on camera. Some were funny while others were just cruel.
“Tom Hiddleston is so f**king ugly. Why is no one acknowledging this?” the British actor read aloud, looking upset.
Scarlett Johansson also read a tweet that said she had “the emotional range of a f**king celery.” The message ended with the phrase, “I hate white people." This prompted the actress to ask, “All of us?!”
Though Dr. Strange normally keeps his cool, Benedict Cumberbatch couldn’t stop laughing when reading: “Benedict Cumberbatch always looks like he’s had an allergic reaction to bad shrimp.”
Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman also found his insult funny, hysterically laughing upon reading: “OK, how did the coolest blackest dude in the galaxy end up with some white bread-a** name like ‘Chadwick?’”
Chances are, the superhero stars aren’t bothered by the online jokes, as the latest Marvel film earned the highest opening weekend box office sales of all time, bringing in a whopping $258.2 million.
