John Cho, Jon Hamm and Lena Waithe will also present at the March 3 awards show, ET can exclusively announce.
The Oscars won't be the only star-studded awards show in March.
Ava DuVernay and Scarlett Johansson will be presenting at next month's Independent Spirit Awards, ET can exclusively announce, along with John Cho, Jon Hamm and The Chi creator Lena Waithe. DuVernay was already selected as this year's Honorary Chair, a title previously held by the likes of Jessica Chastain and Kerry Washington.
"We are so happy to have Ava DuVernay as our Spirit Awards Honorary Chair," Josh Welsh, president of Film Independent, said in a statement. "Ava is a remarkable filmmaker -- a writer, director and producer we have celebrated at the Spirit Awards and the LA Film Festival. More than that, she is a leader and a powerful voice for change, in the industry and beyond."
The Spirit Awards will be hosted, for the second year in a row, by Nick Kroll and John Mulaney, and Call Me by Your Name holds the distinction of the most nominations of the year, with a total of six. Get Out follows with five and then Lady Bird with four, while Mudbound will receive 2018's Robert Altman Award.
The 2018 Independent Spirit Awards will be broadcast live on IFC on March 3 at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET
