Michael Ray and Carly Pearce announced their divorce in 2020 after less than one year of marriage.
Audrina Patridge is hard launching her new romance! The 39-year-old former reality star took to Instagram on Tuesday night to share a sweet photo with her boyfriend, country musician Michael Ray.
"'There's a lot of things in life worth letting go, But the ones that mean the most, you gotta hold' 🤍," Patridge captioned the photo of herself cozying up with her new man.
The lyrics, of course, come from Ray's song "Hold," and marked the first time she had publicly acknowledged their romance.
Ray commented on the post, writing, "Let’s go babe!!! Grateful for you and Kirra ❤️♾️."
One commenter wrote, "Ahhhhh hard launch 😍🥰🤍 love seeing you happy!" prompting Patridge to reply, "@yinsandneedles haha finally;)!"
Ray was previously married to country singer Carly Pearce with the two calling it quits in 2020 after less than a year of marriage.
ET spoke with Ray in 2021 after his divorce, where he talked about moving forward.
"All of the sudden, you're like, 'Well, I survived that,' and that's how I look at last year, like, I came out, I'm good. A lot of things said about me that wasn't true, people talking, people trying to make a brand on people's actual true-life feelings and there was a lot of hard times, there was dark times in there, of course you're human, you have emotions," Ray shared at the time. "I'm an over-thinker. I'm not proud about it, but I overthink every situation and I think afterwards, you just gotta look at things and, Rocky's my favorite movie, and when he holds that belt up and he says, 'Adrian, We did it!' That's how I felt after 2020. I was beat up, but hey, we did it. And if I survived that, bring on anything else, I'm good."
As for Patridge, her personal life played out on The Hills, with her dating Justin Bobby Brescia and singer Ryan Cabrera. Patridge was married to BMX biker Corey Bohan from 2016 to 2018. The exes share daughter Kirra, 8.
"He was such a huge part of my life, and it was no secret it was a toxic relationship. ...The divorce was public, so that's not something that I could just pretend, 'Oh, it never happened,'" Patridge told ET of Bohan in 2022.
Patridge has claimed that Bohan was verbally abusive to her, frequently accusing her of cheating on him, which she claimed he was, in fact, doing to her.
In her book, Choices: To The Hills and Back Again, Patridge wrote about a time when Bohan allegedly pushed her while she was holding their daughter. "That was the breaking point," she told ET. "We were going through such a hard time. ...It's one thing if it was just me but when she was there and there's no self-control over your emotions and the fact that your child is right here, that did it for me."
In a statement to ET, Bohan denied the allegation.
"As far as her claims of me pushing her while holding Kirra that’s beyond anything that ever happened," the statement read in part. "Drunk etc while watching Kirra is absolutely made up."
"I was investigated by the DA’s office and did multiple evaluations, seen professional therapists, dealt with social workers, completed parenting courses, behavioral courses etc, seen and spoke with professionals covering everything and every subject you can think of," the statement also read, referring to their highly publicized court battle. "I learnt a lot and still nothing about me raised alarms, nor was I found questionable and most importantly did anything actually take place in regards to violence or child sexual abuse."
