Ariana Madix has two words for a gift her ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, sent to Rachel Leviss during the couple's tumultuous period: "So cringe."
The revelation took place during Madix's confessional in the latest episode of the Vanderpump Rules After Show, alongside her co-star Katie Maloney.
Madix began, "Yeah, I would be in the kitchen or something, and there was a box on the kitchen counter, and it's addressed to somewhere in Arizona, and it's just full of who freaking knows what."
Sandoval, in a separate confessional next to Tom Schwartz, confidently admits, "I was pretty careful to keep any packages or anything I sent out pretty well hidden."
Madix continued with a smirk, "There's one, man, there's one thing that I saw, I'm struggling to talk about it because it's so cringe. I think it was like after she stopped wanting to talk to him or something."
Sandoval, not shying away from his peculiar gift-giving habits, confessed, "I sent her candy. I would sign her cards and would stamp wax on it. I don't even send my mom birthday cards; they stress me out. I learned how to write and stamp wax, and I'd put sparkles in when she's halfway through."
Tom Schwartz, intrigued, asked, "Like sparkles in the card, so when you open it?"
Sandoval confirmed, "Yeah, like literally it falls out."
Madix chimed in with laughter, revealing, "He got one of those lamps that, 'I have one and you have one.'"
Sandoval then shared the extent of his creative romantic gesture, saying, "I sent her one of these lights where, if I turn it a certain color, we can communicate with these lights."
Madix explained, "It's Bluetooth or something, so if I go and touch it where I am, it will turn on where you are."
In a moment of reflection, Sandoval concluded with a hint of nostalgia, "Yeah, I was very much in love."
In early March 2023, news broke that Sandoval and Madix split amid the revelation that Sandoval cheated on Madix with their co-star, Leviss.
While Sandoval returned for the new season, Leviss -- with whom Sandoval had his clandestine romance -- declined to come back. Instead, Leviss has been sharing her side of her story in a new podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue.
