The Oscar-nominated actresses perfectly sings 'New York, New York' as Minelli.
Amy Adams is a total chameleon!
The Oscar-nominated actress transformed into Liza Minnelli to give a powerful and rich rendition of "New York, New York" for Garage magazine. Dressed in a yellow tee with New York City written on it in black, Adams wears a black Minnelli-inspired wig, full eyelashes and red lipstick.
The actress perfectly embodies Minnelli's mannerisms as she belts out the classic tune. In the clip, she's also dressed as "Andy Warhol's vision" of Dolly Parton and Debbie Harry.
In Garage's accompanying photo shoot, the 43-year-old actress rocks big curly hair, colorful pink-and-purple makeup and big round earrings to channel Parton. As for her transformation as the Blondie frontwoman, Adams is seen with messy bleach blonde hair, red lips and a black-and-white tank top.
The Arrival star also takes a stab at interpreting Warhol "in drag," with her face painted white. She's also rocking bold red lips, big eyelashes, striking eyebrows and a white bob. In the pics, she wears a plain white Gucci button-up and a plaid white tie.
The publication also shared a video of the actress posing as Warhol as The Velvet Underground's "I'll Be Your Mirror" plays in the background.
One thing's for sure: Adams knows how to take on a role!
