The 'Beef' actress revealed she immediately puts her trophies in storage because 'they are so heavy.'
When it comes to storing their awards, stars have been known to keep them in interesting places. Take, for instance, Ali Wong.
Speaking to ET's Kevin Frazier at the 75th annual Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Monday, the 41-year-old Beef actress confessed that whenever she wins an award, the trophies go straight to storage.
"Honestly, because they're so heavy, they go straight into storage," Wong admits. "My kids hold them, but then we have to put them on a very high shelf tucked away so that they don't fall. They are like a hazard to them."
Wong continues, "I have to build like a high shelf behind glass."
The actress is mom to daughters Mari, 8, and Nikki, 6, whom she shares with ex Justin Hakuta. In April 2022, Wong announced that she and Hakuta, 41, were separating after eight years of marriage. More than a year later, Wong officially filed for divorce in December 2023. She cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split and wants joint legal and physical custody of their two kids.
Following her split from Hakuta, Wong has since moved on with fellow comedian Bill Hader. When asked how their relationship works -- Wong is an extrovert and Hader, 45, is an introvert -- Wong responds, "I don't know, we are very selectively private, so I will keep that a mystery."
She adds, "This is all very new to me."
Wong and Hader briefly dated in 2022 before reconciling in 2023. While the couple prefers to keep their romance out of the spotlight, the pair couldn't help but celebrate Wong's win at this year's Golden Globes with a kiss. The actress took home the award for her performance in Beef.
Of the cute moment, Wong previously told ET, "Yeah that's right, I like to keep it peaceful and grateful and amicable."
The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, originally set to take place last September, was postponed due to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes. Hosted by Anthony Anderson at L.A. Live's Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the ceremony will air live Monday, Jan. 15 at 5 p.m. PT, 8 p.m. ET on Fox, and will be streamed Tuesday, Jan. 16 on Hulu.
