The retired baseball player gushed about spending time with his girlfriend of one year.
The couple that works out together, stays together -- if they can keep up with each other!
ET spoke with retired baseball pro Alex Rodriguez at the TruFusion Pop Up at the Wheels Up Party on Saturday night, where he dished on his couples workouts with his girlfriend of one year, Jennifer Lopez.
"Jennifer always kicks my butt, but she's a great dancer," the 42-year-old athlete-turned-baseball commentary said during the Super Bowl weekend soiree. "She loves it as well."
The pair appeared in a video for the TruFusion fitness studio, which combines a sauna-like atmosphere with different exercises, and Rodriguez admitted he's a fan of the options.
"I think the combination for me is a hybrid of boot camp and hot yoga. And I think the fact you can work on your flexibility, your strength, your core and do it in a group environment is great, and when you're done, you get the green juice right at the center," he said of the studio.
But it's not all gym sessions and glamourous nights out for J.Lo and A-Rod. In their downtime, the pair like to take it a little easier.
"We just like to keep it simple -- anything with the kids, a movie, chocolate chip cookies," he explained.
The former New York Yankee also admitted that he is definitely more laidback when it comes to the decision making. "You know she's great, she's fun and, like we say, she's like everyone's boss around here," he noted.
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, Rodriguez hinted at some plans he might have for his lady love, saying, "I started a while ago but I'm not going to share that secret with you -- but it's going to be good!".
Meanwhile, Lopez gushed about Rodriguez to ET's Kevin Frazier at the 2018 DIRECTV NOW Super Saturday Night concert, a pre-Super Bowl LII show in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
"It's crazy. We both are so happy about our lives right now and where we're at professionally, as well as personally," she said. "Just things seem to be flowing in a really beautiful way. We both have a lot of support for each other and a lot of love for each other."
"So much has changed in a year, in a sense, for each of us individually, and we're just really happy. It's a good time," she added.
