The model was nothing but smiles and love during her final appearance on the show's coveted catwalk.
Alessandra Ambrosio has strutted down the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show catwalk for the last time.
The annual runway show aired Tuesday -- after taking place at the at Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China, on Nov. 20 -- and the 36-year-old model stunned in her final appearance in the coveted show.
She appeared in the first showcase of the night, rocking a silver, fringe-covered number with thigh-high lace-up boots, and shared a fun, beaming moment with fellow Victoria's Secret Angel Lily Aldridge.
During the show, some of the other models who walked during the event reflected on Ambrosio's legacy on the VSFS catwalk, and her impact on their own modeling careers.
"Alessandra Ambrosio is the ultimate Angel, and I think she will always be," Taylor Hill shared.
"She killed the runway for so many years," Nadine Leopold said. "She's a huge idol."
For her last true VSFS runway appearance, Ambrosio hit the catwalk during the evening's second performance by Miguel, rocking a bold, colorful, indigenous-inspired ensemble with giant, multi-colored feathers serving as her iconic Angel wings.
The cheers from the crowd grew louder as she walked to the front of the runway, where she silently mouthed "I love you forever" to the audience, while making a heart shape with her fingers, and waving to fans as she strutted off stage as the final model to walk during that portion of the show.
The celebrated model took the stage one last time at the close of the show for the night's curtain call, where she walked out with the other 54 models to take a final bow and wave goodbye.
Taking her place at the front of the catwalk with her fellow Angels, Ambrosio beamed as she held hands with Adriana Lima, and the friends embraced meaningfully.
Ambrosio was also front and center for the 2017 "class photo," where she stood alongside her fellow Angels and smiled broadly.
Ambrosio, who has been participating in the show for the last 17 years, revealed her decision to walk away from the high-profile event when speaking with ET's Kevin Frazier just hours before hitting the stage on Nov. 20.
The model said she's ready to focus her energy on being a mom to her two kids, Anja, 9, and Noah, 5. Check out the video below to hear more.
