'Ghosting: The Spirit of Christmas' debuts Wednesday, Dec. 4.
Aisha Dee has a bit of a "ghosting" issue in her new Freeform Christmas movie -- she is one.
The Bold Type actress stars as Jess in Ghosting: The Spirit of Christmas, a woman who goes on the greatest first date of her life with Ben (Kendrick Sampson), but inadvertently "ghosts" him when she tragically dies in a car accident on the way home. Stuck on Earth, Jess needs the help of her best friend, Kara (Kimiko Glenn), the only person who can still see and hear her, to figure out how to ascend.
Jess and Kara try to resolve just that in ET's exclusive clip, featuring the women's visit to an energy healer, Chrissy (Missi Pyle).
"Jess, welcome. And just to be clear, for my notes, you're seeing her with your two main eyes, right? Not your third eye, right?" Chrissy asks in the clip, as Kara nods in agreement.
"She's actually, she's stuck," Kara explains.
"Oh yes, like she was when she was alive," Chrissy replies.
Jess, shocked by this observation, can't help but call her friend out. "What?" she asks Kara. "You told her that?"
"I told her we both were. She's my energy healer, Jess. We talk, OK?" Kara answers, before turning her attention back to Chrissy. "We tried looking up different types of ghosts, but we just got so overwhelmed."
With that, Chrissy whips out her book, determined to help with the situation. Watch the scene in the video player above.
Ghosting: The Spirit of Christmas, part of Freeform's "25 Days of Christmas" lineup, debuts Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Kendrick Sampson, LisaGay Hamilton and Jazz Raycole also star in the original holiday movie, executive produced by Lisa Kudrow.
