The 'Happy Endings' and 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend' stars team up for a murder mystery likened to 'Rear Window' for stoners.
Here's a gift we never realized we desperately wanted until we got it: Adam Pally (of Happy Endings fame) and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's Rachel Bloom teaming up for the stoner whodunit Most Likely to Murder.
Bloom's casting is a fun Crazy Ex-GF connection, as the comedy comes from director Dan Gregor, with a script by Gregor and Doug Mand, who both serve as writer-producers on the CW musical. (As well as appear onscreen as Dr. Roth and David, the hubby of Rebecca's nemesis, respectively.)
We got our hands on the exclusive character posters for Most Likely to Murder, which offer some very succinct superlatives: Pally is "The Dick," Bloom is "The Ex," Vincent Kartheiser is "The Loner" and Mand is "The Sidekick."

Here is the movie's official synopsis:
"A home for the holidays comedic murder-mystery... Billy (Adam Pally) comes back to his hometown expecting to be beloved like he used to be. Instead he finds his ex (Rachel Bloom) is dating the former high school outcast, so Billy becomes obsessed with proving the outcast is actually the killer behind a mysterious local death. It's like Rear Window...for stoners."
Most Likely to Murder is available digitally and On Demand on May 1.
