Chalamet stars as the folk music legend in a new biopic, out in December.
Timothée Chalamet is anything but an unknown, but the actor looks almost unrecognizable as Bob Dylan in the upcoming biopic A Complete Unknown.
The film, from director James Mangold, is based on Elijah Wald's 2015 book, Dylan Goes Electric!, and follows the true story of the folk legend, from his early days to his controversial turn to electric guitar.
The new teaser, released on Wednesday, shows Edward Norton as Pete Seeger, introducing Dylan to the stage to perform his 1963 hit "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall" -- in which Chalamet does his own singing.
Elle Fanning also stars as Sylvie Russo, the film's version of Dylan's girlfriend Suze Rotolo, who was featured on the album art for The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan.

The film also stars Monica Barbaro as music icon Joan Baez, Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash, Norbert Leo Butz as folk music historian Alan Lomax, P. J. Byrne as music manager Harold Leventhal, Scoot McNairy as Woody Guthrie, Laura Kariuki as Mavis Staples, plus Dan Fogler, Will Harrison, Eriko Hatsune, Charlie Tahan, Ryan Harris Brown, Eli Brown, Nick Pupo, Big Bill Morganfield, Eric Berryman, David Alan Basche, Joe Tippett, James Austin Johnson, Kayli Carter, Sarah King, and Alaina Surgener.
A Complete Unknown is due in theaters in December 2024.
