In a surprising turn of events, Veronica and Jamal appear to be serious after having an open relationship.
Looks like 90 Day Fiancé stars Veronica and Jamal's surprising fling has turned into something more. In this exclusive clip from Monday's new episode of 90 Day: The Single Life, Veronica says she and Jamal are now "exclusive" and travel back and forth from San Diego, California, to Charlotte, North Carolina, to see one another.
90 Day Fiancé viewers were introduced to Veronica due to her very close relationship with her ex, cast member Tim, who was at the time trying to find love with Colombian model Jennifer. Meanwhile, viewers know Jamal as cast member Kimberly's son. Jamal was outspoken about Kimberly's relationship with Nigerian rapper Usman. Veronica and Jamal surprised viewers when they revealed they were seeing each other during a tell-all special, but at the time they said it was an open relationship.
However, in the clip, Veronica says things between them have been going pretty well and that they decided to commit to being exclusive. Still, she says she's concerned about what the future holds because Jamal is "not a great communicator."
"You suck at communication," she bluntly tells him, noting that their issues start the second he leaves. "You don't text back at all."
Jamal says he doesn't feel they need to "talk 24/7."
"I'm more of a face to face person, that's always been my vibe," he explains to cameras. "Like, when we're here, we're here. But Veronica takes it personally when I'm not available to her and I can see maybe an insecurity of her thinking like, 'Oh, he just doesn't care to talk to me,' but that's never been the case."
Veronica says she wants to be serious with Jamal.
"I want to settle down, like, forever-ever with someone and I just want things to keep going well for Jamal and I's relationship," she says. "I think it's worth the risk but if he hurts me, it, you know, could crush me."
90 Day: The Single Life airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC, MAX and Discovery+.
