'90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way': Ingi Reveals the Shocking Reason Why It's Hard to Date in Iceland (Exclusive)

Iceland's Ingi makes his '90 Day' debut and reveals a shocking claim about dating in his country ahead of his girlfriend's arrival.

Introducing Ingi from Iceland!

In this exclusive clip from Monday's episode of 90 Day fiancé: The Other Way, fans finally get a formal introduction to Ingi of Reykjavik, Iceland. The Icelandic party boy is planning on starting a life with his girlfriend, Corona, who has put her dreams of midwife school on hold so she could move to his country.

Ingi, 39, has had his fair share of fun, and enjoys Iceland's nightlife. However, he is cautious when it comes to dating seriously -- and for a good reason.

"Dating in Iceland can be a little like a Russian roulette," Ingi says in the confessional interview. "Like, you don't know exactly like how related you are. Here in Iceland we are more related to each other probably more than anywhere in the world. For example when we're dating, we have a website to see how related you are, but the question is always are you going to look beforehand or afterwards?"

Ingi quips that the chances of the date being a cousin and meeting at the next family dinner are high. That's why Ingi is giving love a shot with Corona as there's no chance the two are related because she was raised in the United States. Like him, she has the party spirit -- and that's how their love story began.

"I've had my fair share of girls but I never really, you know, met someone that ticks all the boxes for me until I met Corona," he says. "Definitely didn't expect that I would be meeting my future girlfriend at an after-party at my apartment. I did not realize that she was hitting on me. She also, like, took a nap," he says with laughter.

Corona is moving to Iceland to be with Ingi after their initial meeting and a brief trip to Ireland together. In the season premiere, she dropped the bomb on her mother, sister and grandmother that she is giving up her spot at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania’s graduate school for midwifery to move with her beau.

Did we mention -- she doesn't even know his last name.
