Rob is finally ready to break up with Sophie on Sunday's emotional episode of '90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?.'
After months of back and forth, it appears Rob Warne is ready to finally pull the plug on his marriage to Sophie Sierra. On Sunday's episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, both Rob and Sophie found themselves in situations where it was easy to stray from their marriage given that they're living apart despite being newlyweds. By the end of the episode, Rob tearfully was to call it quits.
After tying the knot and moving to Austin, Texas, Rob and Sophie's relationship deteriorated instead of getting stronger. Sophie's mom still heavily disapproved of Rob which definitely put a strain on their marriage, and Sophie decided to move in with her friend, Kae, instead of working it out while living together. On Sunday's episode, Rob traveled solo to Kansas City, Missouri, to celebrate his birthday while Sophie stayed behind and went to the club with Kae. As Sophie confided in Kae about her issues with Rob, Kae made a startling confession to the cameras. Kae said she was praying every night for Sophie and Rob to split so that she could marry Sophie, who is bisexual.
"If I could have the perfect world, Rob would be out there and it'd be me and Sophie forever," Kae said. "I'd marry her, I'd do whatever I need. Like, that's my b**ch. That is my b**ch. She's the other half of my soul."
Meanwhile, back in Kansas City, a waitress at the club Rob celebrated his birthday at hit on him aggressively and asked for his number. Rob didn't give it to her but flirted back.
"It's been a long time since I've felt this type of interest," Rob told cameras. "I mean, I haven't had sex in like, a long time, and I got a girl right here who seems pretty interested in me. I could scratch that itch."
Sophie did end up calling Rob and wishing him a happy birthday while he was at the club but the conservation was awkward. Rob said he felt Sophie was just stringing him along.
"It feels manipulative, like she probably just thought up in her mind, I want to kind of mess with his head because maybe him going to the club means he's getting over me," he said. "'I love you, Rob.' I'm hearing that and going, the f**k? Because her actions show that she doesn't."
Later, Rob shed tears as he said he was ready to end the marriage after he returned from his trip with no more calls from Sophie, and with her continuing to live with Kae.
"I woke up and reflected on the last few days and I just can not get anywhere with her," he said. "Sophie's been saying that she needs time after having so much time already. It just feels and seems like she's trying to pull this cloak over my eyes and just keeps pulling me along."
"Last thing I wanted was for this to not work out," he added. "But I did everything I could. I hoped that I could get to that point where we could just start to function together and just be normal, where I could just be her husband and she could just be my wife. But she didn't give me any room to make anything work. I can't figure her out and she clearly can't figure me out. So we should probably just, we shouldn't be together."
Rob asked Sophie to meet up at Kae's house.
"I've never really done this before," he said ahead of their meeting. "I never really had to let go of somebody that I cared about so much. So I don't know what she's going to say, but I can't let that matter."
"You know, I'm about to break up with my wife," he continued. "I'm about to end this relationship and it is very scary. I don't want to make the wrong decision, but you know, Sophie and I have been teetering on this breakup for a while, but she's not going to call me. She's not going to volunteer to talk about this stuff. I have to make this decision for us."
