In this exclusive trailer for the new season, Mahmoud appears to steal Nicole's phone and credit card.
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? is back and in this exclusive trailer for the new season premiering Sunday, March 17, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC, some of the franchise's biggest stars are making their return and the stakes are higher than ever. Fan favorites returning include Angela, Big Ed and more.
In this first look at the new season, 35-year-old Michael finally secures a visa interview amid his years-long journey of trying to move to Georgia to be with 57-year-old Angela. Angela joins him in Africa to prepare for the make-or-break moment, but she makes some unsettling discoveries that leaves her with doubts.
"If that visa's denied, it's over," she says.
Meanwhile, all's not well either for 58-year-old Ed and 31-year-old Liz. Following a successful couples therapy retreat in Florida that was documented on 90 Day: The Last Resort, they moved to Arkansas and are planning the wedding of their dreams. But the two still have a lot to overcome, including making sure Liz's daughter is well-adjusted in their new home, and coping with the mounting financial pressure of a move and a wedding. In the trailer, Liz breaks down crying and Ed notes that he "wanted to come clean."
"I had to find out through your friend, Ed," she says through tears.
One of the more dramatic moments in the trailer is what goes down between 40-year-old Nicole and 31-year-old Mahmoud. Nicole and Mahmoud struggled during their season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way when Nicole moved to Egypt and had difficulty adapting to his strict religious practices. After four years in Egypt, Nicole has returned to L.A. in hopes that she and Mahmoud can make a life together in America. But in one dark moment, Nicole says they got into a huge fight and that he left with her phone and credit card.
"Mahmoud, get in the f**king car," she tells him as he appears to be running away with his suitcase.
