In this exclusive clip from Sunday's episode of '90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?,' Gino's family calls him out.
Looks like Gino's family is actually Team Jasmine. In this exclusive clip from Sunday's episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Gino and Jasmine air out their serious marriage issues at his family reunion and his own family tells him he's wrong.
Gino's family and Jasmine haven't always gotten along, especially since they had their doubts about her intentions before she married Gino. But the relationship turned a new leaf once Jasmine and Gino tied the knot and they appeared to be fully in support of the marriage. In the clip, Gino tells his family that Jasmine feels like he's trying to control her. Jasmine explains that she was highly independent in Panama and isn't used to having to ask permission for everything since she isn't legally allowed to work yet and can't drive herself anywhere.
"Gino's an American citizen and he's not getting what it is for me to be here, new in this country and being very limited," she says. "I was even an American literature teacher for 16 years and now I don't have a driver's license. I cannot work. I'm at Gino's mercy for everything."
Gino's sister takes Jasmine's side and notes she hasn't been going out a lot. When Gino argues that he takes her to the gym every day, his family is incredulous that he think that's a lot of work.
"It could be a lot, but she actually flew from Panama to the United States to live here, so driving her to the gym really isn't that," his sister bluntly tells him. "You knew that she went and worked out every day. Taking her to the gym is not that big of a deal."
Gino's sister also notes that Gino isn't even working at the moment.
"I get frustrated with Gino because he says he wanted to spend time with Jasmine. You know, he wanted to stay home from work," she tells cameras. "But really Gino wants to do fantasy football and do what Gino wants to do. So I think he's not listening to what she's saying because she's telling him her problems with him, but he's either ignoring it or he's not doing anything about it."
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC, Max, and Discovery+.
