The nominees for the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards have been announced and Taylor Swift leads the pack.
MTV's annual celebration of music videos is back!
This year's nominees for the 2024 Video Music Awards were announced on Tuesday -- and the categories are stacked with star power. Once again, Taylor Swift leads the pack with 10 nominations, including Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year.
Post Malone follows with nine nominations while Ariana Grande, Eminem, and Sabrina Carpenter have six apiece. Megan Thee Stallion and SZA each have five nominations and LISA, Olivia Rodrigo, and Teddy Swims round out the list with four nods respectively.
2024's roster of nominations was also stacked with 29 first-time nominees including Benson Boone, Tyla, Chappell Roan, Jelly Roll, Jessie Murph, Rauw Alejandro, Sexyy Red, and Victoria Monét.
Morgan Wallen, Flyana Boss NCT Dream, Coco Jones, and Shaboozey also snagged nominations.
The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from New York's UBS Arena on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 8 p.m. ET.
