Tammy and her family celebrate her latest milestone during a special trip.
Tammy Slaton is never letting go of her moment on a boat!
In a clip from Tuesday's upcoming episode of 1000-Lb Sisters, Tammy and her family all go dolphin watching.
Being in a boat is a big step for Tammy, who has always been restricted with certain activities due to her weight. With her new progress, she can finally enjoy some time in the water.
"Tammy being able to take a boat ride is absolutely wonderful," Tammy's brother, Chris, says in an interview. "I'm proud of her."
In the same interview, Chris suggests to Tammy that they get an inner tube and let her experience free-floating in the water. But's she's not having that.
Back on the boat, Tammy sits next to her sister, Amy, and her two sons, while she gazes into the water and makes dolphin noises. Amanda encourages her to stretch out her arms like Rose in the famous scene from Titanic.
Loving the moment, Amy chimes in saying that she'll be her Jack. Tammy and Amy hilariously recreate the scene, while quoting some of the movies biggest lines.
Amanda, who is on the opposite side of the boat taking in the moment, can't help but be moved by her sister's progress.
"When I look across the boat and I see Tammy sitting there, big ole s****n grin on her face, it's almost like she's a little kid again," Amanda says in a side interview. "Like, I see that inner child coming out of her, and it's such a great thing to look and see her out enjoying life as she is."
This season has seen Tammy return home, after spending a long period of time at the weight loss center and enjoying her newfound life, without weight restrictions.
1000-Lb Sisters airs Tuesdays on TLC.
