<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/jennifer-garner" rel="" target="_blank">Jennifer Garner</a>&nbsp;is tearfully coming to terms with having a child getting ready to leave the nest.</p>

<p>On Monday, the <em>13 Going on 30</em> actress, 52, celebrated -- albeit with some waterworks -- the high school graduation of her eldest child, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/jennifer-garner-says-daughter-violet-is-grateful-for-strict-rules-against-social-media-202595" rel="" target="_blank">18-year-old Violet</a>, by sharing a series of emotional snaps to her Instagram for her 16.2 million followers to enjoy (and relate to).&nbsp;</p>

<p>The first pic in the carousel shows Garner clapping and fighting back blubbers in a room surrounded by fellow parents. Succeeding photos in the bunch see the mom of three wiping away a few runaway tears and hilariously sporting "2024" sunglasses.</p>

<p>"Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate. 🎓 (bless our hearts 🥺♥️😭)," the actress wrote.&nbsp;</p>

<p>One video included in the slideshow also shows the <em>Alias </em>star crying on a plane and expressing concern over the possibility of missing an event, which some fans in the comments speculated could have come from the actress rushing home for Violet's commencement.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"How are we gonna make it?" Garner -- who also shares Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 11, with ex-husband&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/ben-affleck" rel="" target="_blank">Ben Affleck</a>&nbsp;-- says in the video, blotting her eyes with a tissue while seated in the window seat. "What are we going to do?"</p>

<p>In the comments, Garner received love and support from some of her famous girlfriends -- many of whom have gone through bittersweet graduations of their own -- sharing that she should feel all of the emotions and take in the moment.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Oh honey ... I know. 😢 ❤️ You have done a great job, mama! I will be here for support and lots of hugs," replied <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/reese-witherspoon" rel="" target="_blank">Reese Witherspoon</a> -- who Garner is currently <a href="https://www.etonline.com/the-last-thing-he-told-me-renewed-for-season-2-with-jennifer-garner-amid-sequel-book-222328" rel="" target="_blank">working with on season 2 of Apple TV+'s <em>The Last Thing He Told Me</em></a>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"My kids have taught me so much," Garner said, laughing. "Right now? Humility. They're on a real path for teaching me humility."</p>

<p>She added of being a mom to three teenagers, "My house is full of teens and they -- that is hard work."</p>

Jennifer Garner Breaks Down in Tears Over Daughter Violet Graduating High School

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/xochitl-gomez" rel="" target="_blank">Xochitl Gomez</a>&nbsp;can't wait for fans to see what she and the cast of the <a href="https://www.etonline.com/bill-hader-cast-as-cat-in-the-hat-in-new-animated-film-alongside-quinta-brunson-and-bowen-yang" rel="" target="_blank">new <em>Cat in the Hat </em>animated film</a> have in store.</p>

<p>Talking with ET's Denny Directo from Monday's world premiere of Netflix's <em>Atlas</em>, the 18-year-old actress teased her role in the upcoming iteration of the classic Dr. Seuss story, which she stars in alongside <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/bill-hader" rel="" target="_blank">Bill Hader</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Abbott Elementary</em>&nbsp;creator&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/quinta-brunson" rel="" target="_blank">Quinta Brunson</a>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Oh my gosh, well, I actually I just did my first session not that long ago," Gomez shared of getting into the recording booth. "It's so much fun. My character's so dramatic and so crazy, she's -- I love her."</p>

<p>No word yet on a name or description for her role, but it is confirmed that Hader, 45, will voice the iconic feline -- which he previously played in a sketch on <em>Saturday Night Live</em> back in&nbsp;2014.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Gomez -- whose previous credits include <em>Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness</em> and Netflix's <em>The Baby-Sitters Club</em> -- said getting the opportunity to step into an animated project is not only a dream come true, but a full-circle moment.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The actress shared with ET that early on in her career, she would take auditions for voiceover work only to be met with rejection and skepticism at her ability to voice a memorable character.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I saw the drawings -- the first set of drawings -- and like, as an animation lover, I've always wanted to do voiceover," she shared. "I did so many auditions for it and it was just like, 'Sorry, your voice is just not that special.'"</p>

<p>Gomez added, "I came in for my first audition and I like, 'I'm going to do as much [as I can] and I want to really prove to them that I can do it.'"</p>

<p>Luckily for the <a href="https://www.etonline.com/dancing-with-the-stars-crowns-season-32-champion-see-which-couple-took-home-the-mirrorball-trophy" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Dancing With the Stars&nbsp;</em>season 32 winner</a>, her plan to wow the producers worked and she ended up scoring herself a spot on an all-star team of notable names, including&nbsp;<em>Saturday Night Live</em>'s&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/bowen-yang" rel="" target="_blank">Bowen Yang</a>,&nbsp;<em>What We Do in the Shadows</em>'&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/what-we-do-in-the-shadows" rel="" target="_blank">Matt Berry</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Girls5eva&nbsp;</em>actress&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/girls5eva-cast-on-getting-new-life-on-netflix-after-being-canceled-exclusive-221693" rel="" target="_blank">Paula Pell</a>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Studio reps told ET in March that the film will see The Cat "spreading joy to 'happyless' kids" and taking on "his toughest assignment yet… to cheer a pair of siblings struggling with their move to a new town."</p>

<p>The movie is written and directed by&nbsp;<em>Kung Fu Panda 3</em>&nbsp;director Alessandro Carloni and&nbsp;<em>Trolls&nbsp;</em>writer Erica Rivinoja.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While the world waits for that project -- as well as any other MCU films she may or not reprise her role as America Chavez in -- Gomez is occupying her time by showing up to support her friends and fellow actors like <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/simu-liu" rel="" target="_blank">Simu Liu</a> and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/jennifer-lopez-and-ben-afflecks-relationship-timeline-from-shocking-first-split-to-more-breakup" rel="" target="_blank">Jennifer Lopez</a> in their new Netflix film.&nbsp;</p>

<p>She told ET on Monday that she sees Lopez, 54, as an inspiration for herself and other Latina actresses who have their sights set on making a name for themselves in the industry.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"It's so funny, as a kid, I used to enjoy watching all of her music videos. And also my mom has the same name -- like Jennifer -- so as a kid, I was like, 'Oh my god, it's like another power woman,'" she shared.</p>

<p>Gomez continued, "As I've gotten older, I just -- she just continues to do incredible things."</p>

<p><em>Atlas </em>premieres on May 24 on Netflix.</p>

Xochitl Gomez Teases 'Dramatic' Role in New 'Cat in the Hat' Film: 'It's So Much Fun' (Exclusive)

<p>A new biography is taking a deep dive into the fascinating life of <a href="https://www.etonline.com/watch-jfk-jr-carolyn-bessette-share-sweet-wedding-dance-kiss-in-newly-released-footage-exclusive" rel="" target="_blank">Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy</a> and examining her relationship with <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/john-f-kennedy" rel="" target="_blank">John F. Kennedy Jr.</a> prior to their tragic deaths.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Sitting down with ET's Nischelle Turner to discuss her book,&nbsp;<em>Once Upon a Time: The Captivating Life of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy,&nbsp;</em>author Elizabeth Beller offers up new insight on the couple's highly-publicized marriage and the effect it had on Bessette-Kennedy -- a previously unknown publicist.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Bessette-Kennedy and JFK Jr. met in 1992 while she was working for Calvin Klein in New York City after being discovered by a traveling sales coordinator at one of the brand's stores in Massachusetts, according to a July 1999 obituary from <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/1999/07/19/us/carolyn-bessette-kennedy-private-woman-who-was-new-to-fame.html" rel="" target="_blank"><em>The New York Times</em></a>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Beller says that at the start of their relationship -- which saw JFK Jr. working as a lawyer in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office -- they were not much different than any other couple.</p>

<p>"The early years were kind of not that unusual for two people meeting in New York City and juggling careers. Carolyn was only 26 years old when she was at Calvin Klein. She had a real community of friends and was busy with work," Beller shares of the late daughter-in-law of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/john-f-kennedy" rel="" target="_blank">John F. Kennedy</a>.</p>

<p>She adds, "[Carolyn] was one of these people, especially, you know, new to New York City, who really liked to take advantage of New York to the utmost."</p>

<p>Beller says Bessette-Kennedy -- who ultimately began dating Kennedy Jr. in 1994 -- had a zest for life outside of her relationship and would spend her time with friends doing everything from sightseeing to visiting museums and checking out plays. Her life flipped completely upside down, however, when she went public with Kennedy Jr. and became a tabloid target, photographed and written about at all hours of the day.&nbsp;</p>

<p>For a charismatic and social creature like the Calvin Klein publicist, it was a tough transition and one that was only elevated by the heightened expectations around the Kennedy family. While there are many examples of celebrities gaining notoriety seemingly overnight, few are met with such critique for not following a set system of ideals on how to look, dress or act.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"That life that she had before, she had a real sense of freedom. She loved to be out and about. She just really loved to be around her friends," Beller tells ET. "She was a huge caretaker and so I think that the fact that the press started to wait outside for her, it just really killed a lot of her joy. She saw fame as the thief of joy, especially when she really got into it, and there was no way to know that they would be under that much duress by the paparazzi."</p>

<p>Bessette-Kennedy went from private citizen in a city of millions to having public disputes with her partner photographed, videotaped and slapped on the front page of publications around the world and shared on broadcast news. For that reason, Beller says JFK Jr. was cautious -- at least at the start of his relationship with Bessette-Kennedy -- as he knew what could become of her life.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"What was hard for him was the knowledge. For him, is that when she was with him, they weren't as nice," she says of the paparazzi photographers who harassed them nonstop. "They would call her names to specifically upset her."</p>

<p>Despite the media phenomenon they became, the couple did their best to live their lives in private -- even managing to tie the knot miles away from their life in New York.&nbsp;The pair wed on Sept. 21, 1996 -- two years after they first began dating -- in a small ceremony on a remote island in Georgia with Kennedy Jr.'s sister -- Caroline Kennedy -- serving as matron of honor.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Even after their 1996 wedding, however, Beller says Bessette-Kennedy was under extreme societal pressure -- which bled into her own mindset -- to become a Kennedy family member in the way that the public expected her to, complete with a physical transformation she otherwise may not have gone through with.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I think it took her a while to get comfortable. I think she very much did not want to disappoint John," Beller says. "She kind of felt like, 'Oh, I'm not good, let me see what way I can try to be, you know, more like what Americans think a Kennedy should be."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Bessette-Kennedy did everything from losing weight, lightening her hair and flipping her eyebrows to fall more in line with what she believed the public's perception of a Kennedy should be.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"It's this pressure to conform. Even though I don't think John was putting that pressure on her, and certainly not the Kennedys, I think it was just she was thinking, 'What can I do?' I think she was surprised and kind of hurt by how quite odious the tabloids were to her," Beller adds.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Those odious headlines included accusing Bessette-Kennedy of having a drug problem -- which Beller says she "absolutely did not have" -- to being ridiculed for her looks and clothes. Even in death, the author says Bessette-Kennedy was not released from the cruelty of some publications who blamed her for the horrific accident that claimed her life.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On July 16, 1999, Bessette-Kennedy and her older sister,&nbsp;Lauren Bessette,&nbsp;were flying in a light plane Kennedy Jr. was piloting when the vessel crashed into the&nbsp;Atlantic Ocean&nbsp;off the western coast of&nbsp;Martha's Vineyard. All three were killed in the crash and the National Transportation Safety Board later ruled that the haze and darkness were contributing factors.</p>

<p>In the days, months and years that have followed, tabloids and other publications have alleged that Bessette-Kennedy caused the group to board their plane later than they were supposed to as she was shopping and getting her nails done.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"She certainly was vilified," says Beller of Bessette-Kennedy being blamed for the crash. She adds that it was another person publicly stating they believed Bessette-Kennedy "picked a fight" with her husband on the plane that partially inspired her to write the book.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As the world approaches the 25th anniversary of their deaths, Beller says she believes Bessette-Kennedy and Kennedy Jr. would have welcomed a few kids of their own, as they were both lovers of children, especially Bessette-Kennedy -- an education major in college.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I think they would have been great parents," she shares, adding that she also believes Kennedy Jr. would have inevitably found himself in public office as he and his wife figured out how to meaningfully interact with the attention while focusing on their pursuit of change.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I think that they would have both matured and found a way to sort of keep their reserve," Beller adds. "And find a way to navigate social media in a way that was not just a way that they were comfortable living with, but I think that was helpful for others."</p>

Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy Biographer Gives Insight Into Her Relationship With John F. Kennedy Jr. (Exclusive)

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/janelle-brown" rel="" target="_blank">Janelle Brown</a>&nbsp;is sharing how her first Mother's Day without son&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/sister-wives-star-janelle-brown-honors-late-son-garrison-on-what-wouldve-been-his-26th-birthday" rel="" target="_blank">Garrison Brown</a>&nbsp;went, including the "destined" sweet treat she baked in his honor.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a touching Instagram post on Monday, the <em>Sister Wives</em> star and mom of six, 55, shared a photo of a delectable-looking strawberry rhubarb pie she made from scratch -- which she told her followers was a "bittersweet" nod to her late son.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Mother's Day was surprisingly emotional for me," she began her post. "It just never has been a big holiday for me. My children have always shown up for me and made me feel special everyday. Especially since they became independent adults and weren't home all the time."</p>

<p>"But this year was different," Janelle -- who also is mom to Logan, 29, Madison, 27, Hunter, 27, Gabriel, 22, and Savannah, 19 -- continued.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In March, Janelle and her ex-husband, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/kody-brown" rel="" target="_blank">Kody Brown</a>, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/garrison-brown-sister-wives-stars-janelle-and-kody-browns-son-dead-at-25-221005" rel="" target="_blank">lost their fourth child together</a> to suicide. The Flagstaff Police Department&nbsp;<a data-auth="NotApplicable" data-linkindex="1" data-loopstyle="linkonly" href="https://www.etonline.com/garrison-brown-sister-wives-stars-janelle-and-kody-browns-son-dead-at-25-221005" id="OWAa141fd8b-89cc-ed05-6aac-9842437538a5" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">confirmed in a statement to ET</a>&nbsp;at the time that they were dispatched to Garrison's residence and found him dead after being called by his younger brother, Gabriel.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to Janelle -- who has kept her social media followers updated on her progress, including <a href="https://www.etonline.com/sister-wives-star-janelle-brown-celebrates-her-first-birthday-since-the-death-of-son-garrison" rel="" target="_blank">her first birthday</a> and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/sister-wives-star-janelle-brown-says-shes-even-more-grateful-for-my-faith-after-death-of-son-222622" rel="" target="_blank">Easter without Garrison</a> — the Mother's Day pie she whipped up was clandestine as the ingredients came together seamlessly and it just so happened to be a favorite of Garrison’s.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“All weekend I felt the grief so close to the surface. And it was especially poignant when I made this simple pie," she wrote. "Our strawberry picking excursion combined with the fact that I randomly found rhubarb at the local farmers market made it feel like this pie was destined."</p>

<p>Janelle continued, "Strawberry Rhubarb is a huge favorite at our house and maybe no one loved it more than Garrison. And that made this pie a little bitter sweet."</p>

<p>Closing out her post, the mom and reality TV star sent a message to Garrison, writing: "I love you honey and miss you every day."</p>

<p>Just last week, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/sister-wives-star-garrison-browns-cause-of-death-confirmed-225545" rel="" target="_blank">ET obtained a copy of the medical examiner's autopsy report</a>, which ruled Garrison’s manner of death as a suicide caused by a gunshot wound to the head. The report also noted that the<i>&nbsp;Sister Wives</i>&nbsp;star's blood alcohol level (BAL) was as high as .370% and that ethanol intoxication -- aka alcohol poisoning -- is considered a contributing factor in the death.</p>

<p>According to the&nbsp;<a data-auth="NotApplicable" data-linkindex="3" data-loopstyle="linkonly" href="https://www.rochester.edu/uhs/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/bloodalcohollevel.pdf" id="OWA94189e5f-e3bb-0ee3-9cd0-c89c8d55b11c" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">University of Rochester</a>, a BAL of .3% or greater causes a person to be in a "stupor" and have "little comprehension of where you are." A BAL of .35% or greater "also happens to be the level of surgical anesthesia. You may stop breathing at this point."</p>

<p>In early May, just weeks after what would have been <a href="https://www.etonline.com/sister-wives-star-janelle-brown-honors-late-son-garrison-on-what-wouldve-been-his-26th-birthday" rel="" target="_blank">Garrison's 26th birthday</a>, Janelle <a href="https://www.etonline.com/sister-wives-star-janelle-brown-celebrates-her-first-birthday-since-the-death-of-son-garrison" rel="" target="_blank">celebrated a birthday of her own</a>, which she used to reconnect with nature and get back into gardening.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I'll be spending a lot of the summer in NC with Maddie, Caleb and the kids so Maddie and I have made big plans for a garden. I am looking forward to learning how to grow veggies in a climate that has such a long season and way more moisture than I'm used to," she wrote in an Instagram.</p>

<p>The TLC star also spent Easter with Maddie, sharing&nbsp;a gorgeous photo from a North Carolina beach where she was staying with her daughter and grandkids. Maddie, Janelle's eldest daughter, married Caleb Brush in 2016 and the pair share kids Axel, 6,&nbsp;Evangalynn, 4, and&nbsp;Josephine, 1.</p>

'Sister Wives' Star Janelle Brown Posts About 'Emotional' Mother's Day Following Son Garrison's Death

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/sebastian-stan" rel="" target="_blank">Sebastian Stan</a> and <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/jeremy-strong" rel="" target="_blank">Jeremy Strong</a>'s <em>The Apprentice</em> just trumped the competition at Cannes.</p>

<p>On Monday, Stan stood alongside his cast and crew members as they took in a nearly 10-minute standing ovation -- one of the longest of the festival thus far -- after the movie from director Ali Abbasi&nbsp;made its world premiere at the famed film festival.</p>

<p>In the film, Stan stars as a 1980s-era <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/donald-trump" rel="" target="_blank">Donald Trump</a> while <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/maria-bakalova" rel="" target="_blank">Maria Bakalova</a> -- known for her work in <em>Borat 2</em> and <em>Guardians of the Galaxy 3</em> -- plays his first wife, Ivana. The film also stars <em>Succession</em>'s&nbsp;Jeremy Strong as Roy Cohn and Martin Donovan as Donald Trump's father, Fred.</p>

<p>According to <a href="https://deadline.com/2024/05/the-apprentice-trump-movie-ovation-cannes-1235924376/" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Deadline</em></a>, the crowd was uproarious for as long as 11 minutes -- although other outlets report the applause went on for closer to eight minutes -- with Abbasi bowing and even purportedly FaceTiming Strong, who is in New York for his Broadway play, <em>An Enemy of the People</em>.</p>

<p>"<em>The Apprentice</em>&nbsp;is an exploration of power and ambition set in a world of corruption and deceit. It's a mentor-protege story that charts the origins of an American dynasty. Filled with larger than life characters, it reveals the moral and human cost of a culture defined by winners and losers," read a statement about the film when&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/sebastian-stan-to-play-a-young-donald-trump-in-ali-abbasi-film-the-apprentice-215722" rel="" target="_blank">Stan's casting was announced</a>.</p>

On the same day that Stan, Bakalova and the film's cast and crew walked the red carpet in the French Riviera, the prosecution rested its case.</p>

<p>The reality TV star turned politician is also looking at legal woes in Washington, D.C., and Georgia, where he is charged with allegedly conspiring to overturn the 2020 election, all as he is currently petitioning for a return to the White House in November, facing off against President Joe Biden.&nbsp;</p>

Sebastian Stan's Donald Trump Origin Film 'The Apprentice' Gets Nearly 10-Minute Standing Ovation at Cannes

<p>After taking over the title from resigned pageant queen, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/noelia-voigt" rel="" target="_blank">Noelia Voigt</a>, Gankiewicz shared an update from <a href="https://www.etonline.com/miss-hawaii-usa-savannah-gankiewicz-named-miss-usa-2023-after-noelia-voigts-resignation-225135" rel="" target="_blank">her first day on the job</a>&nbsp;on Sunday, visiting Maui in her home state of Hawaii for an update on rebuilding efforts following last year's <a href="https://www.etonline.com/news/maui-wildfires" rel="" target="_blank">devastating wildfires</a>. In a post on Instagram, the 28-year-old newly-crowned pageant queen offered an inspirational update from the scene.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I had so many emotions driving through seeing the loss of peoples' homes, businesses, and when I saw the Banyan Tree a place I played under as a child," she captioned a carousel of photos from her day. "As you all may know I represented the Banyan Tree for my National Costume. Seeing it in real life and the signs of growth and greenery, shows that through chaos and sadness Maui will persevere and come out strong at the end.&nbsp;We have such a beautiful community of support and it was nice to be home and connect with everyone."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Gankiewicz said that she spent less than 24 hours on the island and that she used her time there to "connect with residents and hear what they need from me and what I can do to help." She said that she also went on a tour to see the steps county officials are currently taking to <a href="https://www.etonline.com/oprah-winfrey-and-dwayne-johnson-donate-10-million-to-launch-maui-fund-following-wildfires-210647" rel="" target="_blank">rebuild the burn zone</a>.</p>

<p>The&nbsp;model and activist was <a href="https://www.etonline.com/savannah-gankiewicz-is-crowned-miss-usa-says-she-didnt-accept-job-lightly-after-noelia-voigts" rel="" target="_blank">officially crowned</a>&nbsp;2023's Miss USA on Wednesday in a low-key ceremony in&nbsp;Waikiki after&nbsp;Voight&nbsp;announced her&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/noelia-voigt-resigns-as-miss-usa-never-compromise-your-physical-and-mental-well-being-224791" rel="" target="_blank">resignation as Miss USA</a>&nbsp;earlier this month.&nbsp;</p>

<p>During her ceremony, Gankiewicz humbly accepted the crown and sash before taking to the stand to share words with those in attendance -- including her friends, family members and community -- who she says she is striving to make proud in this new role.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I am so shocked right now and I'm just so tremendously grateful," Ganziewicz said.&nbsp;"While this decision was not made lightly, I firmly believe that this opportunity was meant for me and I'm ready to make a positive impact with this organization that I hold dear to my heart."</p>

<p>She continued,&nbsp;"As I embark on this unique reign, I am dedicated to taking action and making a difference."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Just two days after Voigt's resignation, Miss Teen USA, UmaSofia Srivastava, similarly&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C6tmoN7L2hN/?hl=en" rel="" target="_blank">shared</a>&nbsp;that&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/umasofia-srivastava-resigns-as-miss-teen-usa-2-days-after-miss-usa-noelia-voigt-relinquishes-title" rel="" target="_blank">she would be relinquishing her crown</a>, stating, "my personal values no longer fully align with the direction of the organization."&nbsp;</p>

<p>The ceremony and pageantry followed an appearance by the mothers of Voigt and Srivastava on&nbsp;<a href="https://www.goodmorningamerica.com/culture/story/moms-miss-usa-miss-teen-usa-speak-after-110205946?cid=social_twitter_gma" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Good Morning America</em></a>&nbsp;where they discussed the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/moms-of-miss-usa-noelia-voigt-and-miss-teen-usa-umasofia-srivastava-speak-out-following-their" rel="" target="_blank">alleged mistreatment</a>&nbsp;of their daughters, which they claim led to their girls stepping down.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The job of their dreams turned out to be a nightmare," Barbara Srivastava&nbsp;told&nbsp;<em>GMA</em>. "We could not continue this charade. The girls decided to step down, give up their dream of a lifetime, their crown, a national title, why would two girls decide to give that up?"</p>

<p>Both women said NDAs in their daughters' contracts prevent them from directly speaking out about the "abuse" they endured while holding the titles.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a resignation letter to the Miss USA organization, Noelia wrote, "There is a toxic work environment within the Miss USA organization that, at best, is poor management and, at worst, is bullying and harassment… I was made to feel unsafe at events without an effective handler, and this culminated in being sexually harassed."</p>

<p>The Miss USA organization said in a statement, "The well-being of our titleholders is a top priority."&nbsp;</p>

Miss Hawaii USA Savannah Gankiewicz Reflects on Her First Day on the Job: 'I Had So Many Emotions'

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/wynonna-judd" rel="" target="_blank">Wynonna Judd</a>&nbsp;felt Loretta Lynn's presence while performing with the late country music artist's granddaughter, <a href="https://www.etonline.com/luke-bryan-comforts-ryan-seacrest-after-emotional-american-idol-performance-223480" rel="" target="_blank">Emmy Russell</a>, on the season 22 finale of&nbsp;<em>American Idol</em>.</p>

<p>"I did and I love Loretta," Judd, 59, told ET's Denny Directo from the red carpet of the <em>American Idol</em> finale on Sunday. "She gave me the shirt off her back, literally, and she was the first woman that hugged me in country music."</p>

<p>Judd noted that while she was in the room to give advice to the <a href="https://www.etonline.com/american-idol-crowns-new-champion-for-season-22-find-out-who-won-225752" rel="" target="_blank">three finalists on&nbsp;<em>American Idol</em></a>&nbsp;--&nbsp;Jack Blocker, Abi Carter, and Will Moseley --&nbsp;getting the opportunity to sing "No One Else on Earth" with <a href="https://www.etonline.com/american-idol-loretta-lynns-granddaughter-auditions-with-emotional-original-song-220472" rel="" target="_blank">Russell</a>, 24, was especially moving.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"At some point in your life, you find yourself talking to someone in the family that's carrying on what their ancestors started and that's what she's doing," Judd said of Russell.</p>

<p>Judd said that she saw the <em>American Idol </em>gig as a "special night" of "giving back," and offered up that no matter who won the show, they take the advice she learned the hard way and save any money they make throughout their career.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I'm helping these youngsters out there who need some wisdom and experience," Judd said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>For Judd, getting the chance to perform alongside the granddaughter of her longtime friend and music icon was a full-circle moment, given that less than two years ago, she performed at Lynn's celebration of life memorial service in October 2022. At the event, Judd gave a moving rendition of "How Great Thou Art" alongside Gaither Vocal Group and Larry Strickland.</p>

<p>In the wake of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/loretta-lynn-country-music-icon-and-coal-miners-daughter-singer-dead-at-90-106587" rel="" target="_blank">Lynn's death on Oct. 4, 2022</a>, Judd also penned a tribute to the three-time GRAMMY Award winner, thanking her for her contributions to music and her friendship.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"As a young girl, I learned about Loretta from listening to her on the Grand Ole Opry. She was the very first country concert I ever saw," Judd wrote on Instagram at the time.&nbsp;</p>

<p>She continued, "I was 15 and living in a Vegas hotel for a bit, and I would go down to one of the casino showrooms to watch her show every night. I was mesmerized from the first time I saw her walk out onstage in her ball gown."</p>

<p>In February, Russell shocked judges&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/katy-perry" rel="" target="_blank">Katy Perry</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/luke-bryan" rel="" target="_blank">Luke Bryan</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/lionel-richie" rel="" target="_blank">Lionel Richie</a>&nbsp;with an original song called&nbsp;"Skinny" about her battle with an eating disorder. Before she began singing, she <a href="https://www.etonline.com/american-idol-loretta-lynns-granddaughter-auditions-with-emotional-original-song-220472" rel="" target="_blank">told the judges she grew up on a tour bus</a> with a singer grandmother, which is how her familial connection was revealed.</p>

<p>When asked by Bryan to name the performer, she simply replied, "Loretta Lynn," leaving all three judges visibly gobsmacked.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Your grandma is," Richie said. "What?!"&nbsp;</p>

<p>After singing her own heart-wrenching song at the piano for the judges, she scored a ticket to Hollywood and high praise from the trio.</p>

<p>"You are an A+ songwriter," Perry gushed. "So is your grandma. You got the gift."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Russell was ultimately eliminated on May 12 but returned for the&nbsp;<em>American Idol</em> finale. The show airs live on May 19 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET and is available on Hulu the next day.&nbsp;</p>

Wynonna Judd Reacts to 'American Idol' Duet With Loretta Lynn's Granddaughter Emmy Russell (Exclusive)

<p><a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/chris-pratt" rel="" target="_blank">Chris Pratt</a>&nbsp;has a special reason why his daughters,&nbsp;Lyla Maria, 3, and Eloise Christina, 1, haven't seen&nbsp;<em>The Garfield Movie</em> yet.</p>

<p>On Sunday, the actor, 44, spoke with ET's Kevin Frazier from the premiere of his new film and shared that he is considering giving his two young girls an exclusive screening when the toddler and baby are ready -- so long as they earn it. &nbsp;</p>

<p>"My son has seen it and he loved it but my daughters haven't seen it yet," Pratt said of his 11-year-old son, Jack, whom he shares with ex-wife <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/anna-faris" rel="" target="_blank">Anna Faris</a>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Pratt and Faris, 47, split in 2017 after eight years of marriage and the actor tied the knot with <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/katherine-schwarzenegger" rel="" target="_blank">Katherine Schwarzenegger</a> in 2019. Since then, the happy couple has welcomed two children of their own, Lyla and Eloise, who may just be a tad too young to see the animated film their dad is currently promoting.</p>

<p>"If they act right, they'll get a personal screening, but if not, no. So far, it's half and half," he joked. "I'd love to have a personal screening, it'll be great. As soon as they're ready for that, which, by the way I think is pretty soon because this movie is -- it's OK for kids, it's safe for kids."</p>

<p>It's unclear what exactly his girls need to do to show they're ready, but a big step might be Eloise's upcoming second birthday on Tuesday. For the actor, it's not only an honor to have a movie that he can enjoy with his children, but to be a part of a project that brings an iconic character to life in a new way.</p>

<p>"It's so cool to present Garfield to the world," he said of the film, in which he lends his voice to the titular character. The movie also features voice work from <em>Saturday Night Live&nbsp;</em>alum <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/cecily-strong" rel="" target="_blank">Cecily Strong</a>,<em> What We Do in the Shadows</em>’ <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/harvey-guillen" rel="" target="_blank">Harvey Guillén</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/samuel-l-jackson" rel="" target="_blank">Samuel L. <p>Pratt previously <a href="https://www.etonline.com/chris-pratt-explains-how-his-garfield-portrayal-is-similar-to-his-parks-and-rec-character-andy" rel="" target="_blank">spoke with ET about the film</a> and said that his character in the animated project is also a return to a fan-favorite persona from his past -- one widely credited with launching his now-massive career.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I&nbsp;just ate a lot of lasagna, I tried a few different things, and I realized that he sounds a lot like Andy from&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/parks-and-recreation" rel="" target="_blank"><em>Parks and Rec</em></a>,"&nbsp;Pratt said of his previous portrayal of&nbsp;Andy Dwyer. "That&nbsp;was actually Mark&nbsp;[Dindal],&nbsp;our director's note. He said, 'I&nbsp;think I know exactly what this guy sounds like. That character you play on&nbsp;<em>Parks and Rec.</em>'"</p>

<p>He continued, "I was like, 'Great, that's perfect.'&nbsp;Andy and Garfield are very similar."</p>

<p><em>The Garfield Movie</em> hits theaters on May 24.&nbsp;</p>

Chris Pratt Explains Why His Daughters Haven't Watched 'Garfield' Yet (Exclusive)

<p>Just days after the 54-year-old singer and her movie star husband, 51, were <a href="https://www.etonline.com/ben-affleck-and-jennifer-lopez-photographed-together-for-first-time-in-over-a-month-amid-split" rel="" target="_blank">spotted together for the first time in over a month</a>, a person familiar with the couple shares that they are taking some time apart and figuring things out in order to see where the future takes them.&nbsp;</p>

<p data-pm-slice="1 1 []">A source tells ET, "Jen and Ben's relationship is not over yet, but they have been staying in separate homes and the tension has been high. They are taking a second to figure out what each of them is going through and wants. Both of them have been very down."</p>

<p>On Friday, Affleck was photographed by <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2024/05/18/ben-affleck-no-wedding-ring-jennifer-lopez-split-breakup/" rel="" target="_blank"><em>TMZ</em></a><i>&nbsp;</i>behind the wheel of his car, and eagle-eyed fans noticed <a href="https://www.etonline.com/ben-affleck-photographed-without-wedding-ring-amid-jennifer-lopez-split-speculation-225736" rel="" target="_blank">his wedding band was missing</a> from his ring finger. The photos were taken&nbsp;outside a recital for Affleck's daughter, Seraphina, 15, whom he shares with ex-wife <a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/jennifer-garner" rel="" target="_blank">Jennifer Garner</a>. They also share Violet, 18, and Samuel, 12.</p>

<p>At the same event for Affleck and Garner's second child, Lopez -- who was also in attendance -- was <a href="https://www.etonline.com/ben-affleck-and-jennifer-lopez-photographed-together-for-first-time-in-over-a-month-amid-split" rel="" target="_blank">seen wearing her wedding ring</a>. She and Affleck spent time chatting&nbsp;in a parking lot outside, with Affleck carrying flowers. Amid their reported marital troubles, another source says the <em>Good Will Hunting</em> star is focused on his kids.</p>

<p>"Ben's priority is his family and well-being," the source shared of the couple, who wed in July 2022.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This comes after <a href="https://www.etonline.com/jennifer-lopez-stuns-in-sheer-silver-gown-at-2024-met-gala-224330" rel="" target="_blank">Lopez appeared at the 2024 Met Gala</a> -- where she served as co-chair -- by herself on May 6. Just hours earlier, Affleck surprised the audience at <em>The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady,&nbsp;</em>where he trolled NFL fans who have been critical of the former Patriots quarterback. Affleck, Brady and Lopez previously starred alongside each other in a Super Bowl commercial for Dunkin', where Brady, 46, and Affleck crashed a recording session of Lopez's.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A source recently shared with ET that the couple&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/why-ben-affleck-and-jennifer-lopezs-marriage-hasnt-been-great-at-times-it-can-be-a-lot-source-says" rel="" target="_blank">has their "ups and downs"</a>&nbsp;since getting married, noting, "They’re not always on the same page. They both have so much going on between taking care of their families and their work commitments and it can be a lot for them."</p>

<p>Speculation over the status of their relationship only grew after dating coach Lenna Marsak shared on her Instagram Story last week that <a href="https://www.etonline.com/jennifer-lopez-likes-post-about-relationship-red-flags-amid-ben-affleck-split-rumors-225694" rel="" target="_blank">Lopez had "liked" her post&nbsp;about unhealthy relationships</a> months after it was posted. The&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C4truXIOeK7/" rel="" target="_blank">March 19 post details personality traits</a>&nbsp;some people bring to relationships that the account positions as unhealthy for romance.</p>

<p>"You can't build a relationship with someone who is disconnected from themselves," Marsak captioned her post. "We can't expect someone to see us when we can't even see themselves. Getting in a relationship is the easy part. Nurturing &amp; fostering it is a different story. After all, love is not a feeling, it's action ❤️."</p>

<p>"Ben is 100 percent supportive of Jen and keeps it real with her," the source added. "They both know this is part of the business and remind each other that you can't please everyone.
