The tennis star asked for advice after sharing her mommy frustrations over the painful process with her fans.

Even with the joys of motherhood, there can be a few frustrations along the way.

Serena Williams shared one of those on her Instagram on Sunday, where she detailed the painful teething process her baby daughter, Alexis, is going through.

"Teething -- aka the devil -- is so hard. Poor Alexis Olympia has been so uncomfortable. She cried so much (she never cries) I had to hold her until she fell asleep," the tennis star wrote in the caption alongside a sweet photo of three-month-old Alexis.

Williams went on to detail the various remedies she's tried to ease her daughter's pain.

"I've tried amber beads... cold towels.... chew on mommies fingers.... homeopathic water (lol on that one) but nothing is working," she continued.

The newlywed ultimately reached out for recommendations from her followers on the site.

"It's breaking my heart," she wrote. "I almost need my mom to come and hold me to sleep cause I'm so stressed. Help? Anyone??"

Luckily, teething is just a phase and Alexis looks like she's a toughie. Earlier this week, on her official Instagram, baby Alexis hit the gym with her dad, Alexis Ohanian, staring fiercely into the camera.

"Dad & I hit the gym hard today," the photo's caption read.

And in a photo from earlier this month, she looked read to take on any challenge, with a tiny little fist and her cute pink pajamas.

Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian welcomed their daughter on Sept. 1, and tied the knot in an elaborate Beauty and the Beast-themed wedding in New Orleans last month. See more on the star-studded affair in the video below.
