The show marks the 'Sex and the City' star's return to the premium cable network.
The first trailer for Sarah Jessica Parker’s new HBO series, Divorce, has arrived!
"A long time coming," The former Sex and the City star wrote on Instagram with a tease of the show.
In Divorce, Parker plays Frances, a woman who begins to reassess her life and marriage to her husband (Thomas Haden Church). Unfortunately, the New Yorker quickly realizes that finding a fresh start will be harder than she thought. Molly Shannon, Talia Balsam and Tracy Letts also star.

It’s been over a year of build-up for Parker’s new show, ever since it was ordered to series last April and the first official photo of the show was released in November.
Last April, Parker -- who also serves as an executive producer on Divorce -- sat down with ET’s Melissa Rivers to talk about returning to television and her anticipated new project.
“It was an area of particular interest for me because I’m married, and I love being married, and I’m happily married,” said Parker, who wed actor Matthew Broderick in 1997. The couple has three children together.

"I think marriage is wonderfully complicated and wonderfully interesting, and everybody conducts their marriage differently," she added. "We know almost nothing about people's marriage, because even those who we're most intimate with in friendships, we don't always share the good or the bad. And I just think that at a certain point, some people feel alone and lost."
Divorce premieres this fall on HBO.
