Ferrets are the way to Gyllenhaal's heart.
Amy Schumer is the latest Catfish victim.
In a parody of MTV’s reality dating show, Schumer is joined by faux versions of hosts Nev Schulman and Max Joseph in Katfish, after she tells them she met a man in an online chat room for ferret lovers saying he was Oscar-nominated actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
Believing that she is being seriously catfished, Schumer explains why she isn’t sold that it’s Gyllenhaal on the other side of the computer screen.

“He’s been telling me that he loves me since Week 1, but I’m pretty sure I’m being catfished,” she says on the Inside Amy Schumer spoof. “He just messaged me and he said, ‘You are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.’”
The trio takes matters into their own hands, crashing Gyllenhaal’s abode to prove that it’s actually “an overweight lesbian who can’t make eye contact” communicating with Schumer. Only, Schumer and Co. are sorely mistaken.
“Amy, hi!” the real Gyllenhaal greets Schumer, as he pets his ferret, Falcor. “My god, it is so great to finally meet you.”

But turns out, Schumer wanted to become “MTV famous” and her plan backfired.
“Why are you ruining my episode of Katfish?” Schumer asks, before admitting that she got rid of her “beloved ferret Margot” so she could afford a publicist for her post-Katfish fame.
Then, things turn ugly when Gyllenhaal realizes he’s being played, and the 35-year-old actor drops F-bomb after F-bomb after F-bomb -- all while holding a ferret. Watch the video above to see what happened next!
Inside Amy Schumer airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.
