There’s a new face coming to Grey Sloan Memorial!
ET has confirmed that Wilmer Valderrama will be joining the cast of Grey’s Anatomy for a multi-episode arc beginning in early April. Variety first broke the news, revealing that Valderrama’s character will be named Kyle Diaz. No other details on his storyline are available.
The 36-year-old actor stars on El Rey Network’s From Dusk Till Dawn and Fox’s Minority Report adaptation, which ran for 10 episodes this past fall. He has also been cast in CBS’ military drama pilot Four Stars.

Back in October, Valderrama revealed the tribute to girlfriend Demi Lovato that he snuck onto Minority Report.
“I don’t know if you guys noticed, but we were able to find a little way to sneak her into this show here too,” he explained to ET, revealing a large poster of his Lovato that hangs in Vega’s (Meagan Good) apartment. “She’s an oldie artist in the future and she’s on the wall here as an icon – the icon that she is surely becoming.”
Maybe he’ll convince Grey’s showrunner Shonda Rhimes to use a Demi Lovato song on the medical drama as well!
