Sarah Hyland is joining a different kind of TV family.

The Modern Family star has signed on to play Lisa Houseman in ABC's highly buzzed-about TV movie remake of Dirty Dancing, ET confirms.

The 25-year-old actress joins previously announced Scream Queens star Abigail Breslin, who will be playing Hyland's on-screen little sister, Baby, and Debra Messing as Marjorie, the matriarch of the Houseman family.

Fingers crossed Hyland will gift fans with her own tone-deaf rendition of "Hula Hana" like the original Lisa -- played by Jane Bruckner -- did in the hit flick.

Rounding out the cast is newcomer Colt Prattes, who will be showing Baby the time of her life as the beloved romantic lead, Johnny, and former Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger as Johnny's former dance partner, Penny.

Produced by Lionsgate Television, the three-hour TV musical will give viewers a new take on the popular 1987 romantic drama starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.
