In June, Victor rode the now-famous colt American Pharoah into the history books when he won the Triple Crown at the Belmont Stakes -- a feat that hadn’t been achieved in 37 years.
The following month, Victor spoke to ET and the ESPY Awards -- where American Pharoah was nominated for Best Championship Performance -- and the 43-year-old jockey shared his joy over the hard-earned Triple Crown victory.
"It was an incredible feeling," Victor told ET. "It's so hard to win this race. It's been so many years, so many incredible horses there [have] been so close to winning and finally I was the lucky one!"

Maybe the superstar jockey will be able to pull out a miraculous win on DWTS! It will be interesting to see how someone of Victor's diminutive stature will coalesce with the tall, statuesque DTWS pros.
The reveal came one day after it was announced that Bindi Irwin would also be competing on the upcoming season.
Bindi -- daughter of the late Steve Irwin – revealed the news on Monday’s Good Morning America, where she joked, "The judges scare me more than crocodiles."
