James Corden Gets Super Emotional During 50th Episode of 'Late Late Show'

CBS

Get it together, James!

Is he for real?

James Corden proved what a good actor he is when he appeared to be shedding actual tears on the 50th episode of the Late Late Show on Thursday.

The studio audience couldn't help but laugh as the late-night host got all choked up (literally, he looked like he was choking at one point) as he expressed his gratitude for those involved in the show. "This is way tougher than I thought it was going to be," Corden quipped.

Unable to pull it together, Corden had to rely on a series of pre-taped clips to show his thanks.

This wasn't the only big moment of the night. American Idol alum Adam Lambert also showed up on the Late Late Show and paid tribute to Corden by crooning a Queen song.

Needless to say, the performance evoked an emotional reaction from the host.
