Jon Stewart Reveals Date of His Final 'Daily Show' Episode

The host took some time at the end of Monday's show to let fans know when he would officially sign off.

The sad reality that Jon Stewart won't be hosting The Daily Show for much longer got even more definitive on Monday when the beloved host took some time at the end of his show to announce the date of his last episode.

"My last Daily Show program will be August the 6th," Stewart said to his silent audience. "I will be wearing a suit. I will more than likely be showered."

As he made the announcement, fans in the audience could be heard moaning in disappointment.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I'll be wearing overalls and I won't shower," Stewart joked.

The longtime host also revealed that fans can enter for a chance to win tickets to Stewart's final episode, and all the proceeds will be donated to Night of Too Many Stars, a charity supporting Autism Speaks New York.
