The winter premiere of Pretty Little Liars' fifth season is almost here which means we’re kicking off 2015 with jaw-dropping twists and heart-pounding turns. Of course this also means that fans will finally be able to curb their swoon-worthy cravings with a weekly dose of Rosewood romance.

We had an exclusive chat with executive producer Marlene King and she spilled all the pretty little secrets about each couple's romantic future. So which duo is facing some "challenges" ahead, and which twosome is sweetly "solid" in the new year? Take look at our video above for your exclusive PLL romance check-up!
Alright, shippers — remember to breathe. If you're concerned about the fate of your favorite couple, keep reading: King promised us that despite the cold, this winter is going to give us some hugely heart-warming moments.
"This is really the season where we flip-flopped our cycles," King spilled to ETonline. "Usually the summer season is more about the romance and sort of the ground work for the story that we then pay off on the flipside. But we essentially made the decision to change that kind of formula."

The showrunner continued, "We wanted to be fresh and fun and ride the mystery train in the summer cycle, and leave more room for fun, and romance, and a little bit lighter story this winter."
The new season of Pretty Little Liars' premieres Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
