Leah Remini and her family are getting a reality show.
King of Queens star Leah Remini has signed a deal for a reality series featuring her and other family members.
The series will air on TLC, which announced the news Wednesday. "Leah is a no-nonsense, hard-working, relatable mom, wife, daughter, and
sister. Her sharp humor and unfiltered family are a perfect match for
the network, said Nancy Daniels, GM of TLC. "This series continues our
focus on creating compelling series about remarkable families, using
heart and humor to anchor it to the TLC brand."

The network has ordered 12 half-hour episodes of the yet untitled project, which is expected to premiere this summer.
Joining Leah in the series will be her husband of 10 years, Angelo, who helps run their family diner, and their feisty 9-year-old daughter Sofia. Other household members who will appear on the show include her opinionated mother and eccentric stepfather, as well as her sister and brother-in-law, who have a secret coded language that consistently annoys Leah. Additional cast members will include Leah's housekeeper, Sofia's British nanny, and Leah's personal assistant, who really wants to act.
News of the new series follows a series of high-profile interviews in which Leah addressed her differences with the Church of Scientology and revealed her reasons for leaving the religion.
