New Details On Prince's 'New Girl' Episode

Turns out even Prince is a fan of the adorkable Zooey Deschanel!

Prince will guest star on a special episode of New Girl airing after the Super Bowl, Fox just confirmed.

In the highly anticipated episode, Deschanel's character Jess and her best friend Cece (Hannah Simone) get invited to a mansion party hosted by the legendary artist -- which her boyfriend Nick (Jake Johnson), and friends Schmidt (Max Greenfield), Winston (Lamorne Morris) and Coach (Damon Wayans, Jr.) are of course determined to crash.

This marks Prince's first appearance on a television comedy. The notoriously reclusive musician is reportedly a big fan of New Girl, and actually volunteered for a guest spot himself, Rolling Stone reports.
