Sneak Peek: Kirstie Alley's Sitcom Return!
Two decades after the series finale of Cheers, Kirstie Alley is back at again with another sitcom in the new comedy series Kirstie, and ET has a sneak peek at the premiere episode.
Alley is best known for her six-season role on Cheers, for which she won both an Emmy and a Golden Globe, so it's only natural for the actress to return to a sitcom eight years after her short-lived Fat Actress series.
Kirstie follows Alley's character, Maddie Banks, a Broadway star whose son whom she gave up for adoption at birth, Arlo (Eric Petersen), comes back into her life after his adoptive parents pass away.
Although she's a bit stubborn at first, with the help of her assistant, Thelma (Rhea Perlman), and her driver, Frank (Michael Richards), Maddie takes in Arlo and begins to embrace becoming a mother for the first time.
