'SYTYCD' Crowns Winners, Renewed for S'11
For the first time in So You Think You Can Dance history, the winners of the show's landmark 10th season have also been dance partners from the beginning of the season. Last night, contemporary dancer Amy Yakima and hip-hop street dancer Du-Shaunt "Fik-Shun" Stegall were named America's Favorite Dancers.
Of the winning moment, Fik-Shun expressed nothing but gratitude. "At that point there's nothing you can do. There's nothing you can do to stop what's happening next," he says. "You just look back and reflect on how much fun you've had over the season [and] that you've gotten this far where a lot of people haven't."

It was a big night for the veteran dance show, which saw creator/Executive Producer/judge, Nigel Lythgoe, announcing on-air that SYTYCD will be back for an 11th season.
"I'm so delighted otherwise this moment would have been a bit sad for me because this is such a fun show to work on," host Cat Deeley says of the series renewal. "I get to come back and do a job I love. How many people can say that?"
