Karina Hints: My 'DWTS' Partner's Name is 'Ryan'

We're just a few days away from the highly anticipated reveal of Dancing with the Stars' season 17 cast! Normally that information is kept tightly under wraps, but pro dancer Karina Smirnoff was more than happy to drop us a major hint regarding which celebrity will take the stage with the mirror-ball winner come September.

"I'm just going to say my partner's first name is Ryan," Smirnoff divulged at POM Wonderful's tropical flavors launch in Las Vegas on Thursday. "So you go wild--Ryan Reynolds, Ryan Gosling…you pick! But it's Ryan, and it is a hottie. "

While Ryan is no doubt a popular celebrity name, the dancer's hint may very well have confirmed the swirling speculation surrounding Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte's interest in DWTS.

As for who might be paired up with the rest of the pros, two-time champion Cheryl Burke was also on hand at the POM event to weigh in on the approaching season, however she was considerably less forthcoming about her new partner.

"He is someone I've never had before, and I've been on 16 seasons so you can do that process of elimination and figure it out," she said, initially joking that David Beckham had decided to trade in his cleats for ballroom shoes under her tutelage.

While Burke remained tight-lipped about her partner, the pair found themselves agreeing on the fact that this season will be the best they've ever had, as far as star power goes.

"We both agreed on the way to Vegas that it is the best cast we've had in 17 seasons," said Smirnoff. "I am super excited about this season."

Added Burke, "This is the first time I don't have to Google anybody."
