SYTYCD Recap: Paula Abdul, the New Format & More!
It was a very eventful week on So You Think You Can Dance! Week 3 began with Jade revealing a knee injury that has forced him to bow out of the competition early, saving the bottom-three guys BluPrint and Curtis from risk of elimination.

The cries of millions of Americans following last week's elimination were heard when Executive Producer (and birthday boy), Nigel Lythgoe announced that they've updated the format for the rest of the season by revealing America's votes in the beginning and judging at the end of the show.
Nigel explains to ETonline, "I think the audience last week felt very sad that the dancers were being asked to dance again when they knew they were cut ... It was more how the audience feels and that's important to us."
And as if there weren't enough going on last night, Nigel and Mary were joined by two fantastic guest judges Erin Andrews (Fox Sports Sportscaster) and Paula Abdul (Paula Abdul), who Nigel admitted waited 10 seasons to have on. The former American Idol judge fit right in saying, "Even though it was a new home for me, it is home for me."
Overall it was a strong night for the contestants with particularly memorable routines by Mackenzie and Paul, Jasmine H. and Aaron, and Malece (joined by All-Star Marko Germar in place of Jade), the latter of which received a standing ovation from all four judges.
The competition is certainly heating up and while we're sad to see Jasmine Mason go home there's still a bevy of talent left on the show.
